Pre Level Puzzle :

There are certain numbers of persons sitting in the row. There are at most 30 persons. All of them are facing the north.

Five persons are sitting between P and U, who is sitting 4 th from the right end. Q is sitting 4 th to the right of P. Three persons are sitting between P and S. Three persons are sitting between W and T, who is sitting 6 th from the left end. Six persons are sitting between T and R, who is sitting 3 rd to the left of S. Two persons are sitting between R and W.

Mains Level Puzzle :

Puzzle 1

Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W, got appointments on either 10th or 15th of different months of the same year starting from March to June. Not more than two persons got appointment in a same month. Only one person got appointment on each date.

V got appointment in the month which has odd days. There were four persons got appointment between V and S. P got appointment before S but not in the month of March. Q got appointment in the month which has even number of days. Three persons got appointment between Q and T. R got appointment before U and both of them got appointment in the month which has odd numbered days. W did not get appointment on 10th of any of the month and he did not get appointment just before S. T got appointment in one of the months before the month in which Q got appointment. P did not get appointment just before S.

Puzzle 2

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting in a circular arrangement and facing the centre and after some time they are sitting in straight line and facing north direction, not necessarily in the same order.

B is 3rd to the right of A in circle and 2nd to the left of A in straight line. H sits opposite to B in circle. H is 2nd to the right of D in straight line. C is 3rd to the left of H in circle. D is the neighbor of A in straight line. The one who is 2nd to the right of A in straight line is also 2nd to the left of A in circle. E is 3rd to the left of F in circle. At least 3 persons are sitting between E and F in the straight line but none of them at any ends. One person sits between B and C in the straight line. F is not neighbor of H in circle. G and E are not neighbors in both arrangements. The one who is opposite to D in circle is not neighbor of D in straight line.
