Eight people P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, and W are born in different months of the same year viz., March, April, June, July, August, September, October, and December but not necessarily in the same order.

V is born in one of the months which has 31 days after March and before October. Two persons are born between W and V. Only one person is born between W and R. As many persons are born before R is one less than the number of persons born after P. As many persons born between R and T is same as the number of persons born between S and R. U is born in one of the months after S.

Mains Level Puzzle :

Shruti, Shanvi, Jiya, Kajal, Yash, Ravi, Alok, and Rohit are seated around a circular table. Among them, only five persons are facing the center and rests are facing opposite to the center, they all are studying in different cities i.e. Goa, Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Indore, Jaipur, and Udaipur (not necessarily in the same order). They are from different classes from class 1st to class 8th (not necessarily in the same order).

The one who is studying in Delhi studies in the 7th class. Shanvi faces the same direction as Rohit faces. Yash is studying in Goa and sits second to the right of Shruti. The one who sits immediate right of Shruti, studies in 2nd class. Jiya is studying in Bangalore and sits immediately left of Yash. Rohit doesn’t sit just near to Shruti. Rohit faces the same direction as Ravi faces. The one who studies in the 8th class faces opposite to the center. Ravi sits opposite to Yash. The persons who study in class 3rd and 6th sit opposite to each other. Kajal is not an immediate neighbor of Shruti. Shruti is studying in Pune. Jiya and Ravi face the same direction with each other. Ravi is studying in Udaipur. The one, who is studying in Mumbai, sits third to the right of Ravi. Shruti and Yash face the opposite directions of each other. The one who is studying in Delhi is not just near to Ravi. Alok is not from Indore. Rohit doesn’t sit opposite to Shruti and doesn’t study in the 5th class. Shanvi sits second to the left of Jiya. Jiya studies in the 4th class but Ravi doesn’t study in the 6th class.
