Pre Level Puzzle :
Eight Probationary Officers at a conference are sitting around a rectangular table with three seats on each of the longer sides and one each on the other two smaller sides. All of them are facing the center of the table. The Officers are Poonam, Kshitij, Rohan, Sapna, Tushar, Usha, Vishal, Wasim.
Vishal and Wasim are sitting opposite to each other, but neither at any extreme end of the longer side nor in the single seats on the smaller sides. Tushar is the head of the conference and is seated on one of the smaller sides, opposite to another officer. Usha is sitting to the immediate left of Kshitij but not on the same side of the table. Poonam is in the same row as Vishal and Sapna. Rohan is sitting opposite to Poonam and to the immediate right of Tushar.
Mains Level Puzzle :
Seven friends i.e. Amit, Riya, Cinu, Deepa, Enrique, Feriah, and Guni who like different subjects i.e. Hindi, Physics, English, History, Chemistry, Maths, Geography and all are seating in a row and facing towards North (Not necessarily in the same order). They all get different marks i.e. 25, 55, 64, 83, 88, 79, and 93 in the subjects which they like.
The one who sits just near to Amit likes Maths. Enrique gets a mark which is perfect square as well as a perfect cube. Guni sits second to the right of Deepa who likes Physics. There are 30 marks gap between Feriah’s marks and Deepa’s marks. The one who likes Geography sits immediately left of the one who likes History. One of them who sits at the extreme end gets marks less than 80. The one who likes Hindi sits at second from the left end. Cinu sits second to the left of Enrique who is an immediate neighbor of Deepa. That person’s mark who likes Hindi is higher than Guni’s marks but lesser than Riya’s marks. Riya is not an immediate neighbor of Cinu who likes English. Two friends sit between Feriah and the one who likes Hindi. Deepa sits in the middle of the row. Feriah does not like Geography.
