Puzzle 1

There are ten boxes of four different types (A, B, C and D) namely- A1, B1, C1, D1, A2, B2, C2, A3, C3 and D2 are placed one above another. Each box contains different mobile phones viz. HTC, Apple, Samsung, Nokia, Lenovo, Sony, Moto, Lava, Vivo and LG but not necessarily in same order.

Box D1 doesn’t contain Moto is kept at a gap of three box from one contains Lava. Box C1 is kept at a gap of one box from box that contains Apple. The box which contains Moto is neither kept immediately above or below of the one contains Lava nor at any place above box B2. Box A3, which is neither kept adjacent to one contains LG nor contains Sony, is kept at a gap of three boxes from one which contains Samsung. Box B2 contains Nokia is kept at a gap of one box from box D1, which is not kept immediately above or below of the one contains Vivo. Box contains Samsung is kept immediately above box D2. No two box of same type is kept adjacent to each other. Box C3 doesn’t contain Vivo. Box contains LG is kept at a gap of two box from box B2. Box A2, which is neither kept at bottom or contains Lava, is kept at a gap of three box from one contains Moto. Number of boxes kept below box B1 is one more than number of boxes above box A1, which doesn’t contain LG. The one contains Vivo is kept third from bottom and is kept adjacent to the box contains Lava. Box contains HTC is kept at any place below one contains Sony. Box which contains Apple is kept at a gap of one box from one which contains Moto.

चार अलग-अलग प्रकार (ए, बी, सी और डी) के दस बॉक्स हैं, अर्थात्- ए 1, बी 1, सी 1, डी 1, ए 2, बी 2, सी 2, ए 3, सी 3 और डी 2 एक दूसरे के ऊपर रखे गए हैं। प्रत्येक बॉक्स में अलग-अलग मोबाइल फोन होते हैं। HTC, Apple, Samsung, Nokia, Lenovo, Sony, Moto, Lava, Vivo और LG लेकिन जरूरी नहीं इसी क्रम में हों।

बॉक्स D1 में नहीं है मोटो को लावा के एक बॉक्स से तीन बॉक्स के अंतर पर रखा गया है। बॉक्स C1 को उस बॉक्स से एक बॉक्स के अंतर पर रखा गया है जिसमें Apple है। जिस बॉक्स में मोटो है उसे न तो लावा वाले बॉक्स के ठीक ऊपर या नीचे रखा गया है और न ही बॉक्स B2 के ऊपर किसी स्थान पर रखा गया है। डिब्बा A3, जिसे न तो LG के बगल में रखा गया है और न ही Sony के साथ, एक से तीन बक्से के अंतराल पर रखा गया है जिसमें सैमसंग है। बॉक्स B2 में Nokia को बॉक्स D1 से एक बॉक्स के अंतर पर रखा गया है, जो कि वीवो वाले बॉक्स के ठीक ऊपर या नीचे नहीं रखा गया है। बॉक्स में सैमसंग को बॉक्स D2 के ठीक ऊपर रखा गया है। समान प्रकार के कोई भी दो बॉक्स एक दूसरे के निकट नहीं रखे जाते हैं। बॉक्स सी3 में वीवो नहीं है। बॉक्स में LG को बॉक्स B2 से दो बॉक्स के अंतर पर रखा गया है। बॉक्स A2, जिसमें न तो नीचे रखा गया है और न ही लावा है, मोटो के एक बॉक्स से तीन बॉक्स के अंतराल पर रखा गया है। बॉक्स B1 के नीचे रखे गए बॉक्स की संख्या, बॉक्स A1 के ऊपर रखे गए बॉक्स की संख्या से एक अधिक है, जिसमें LG नहीं है। एक में वीवो को नीचे से तीसरे स्थान पर रखा गया है और बॉक्स के बगल में रखा गया है जिसमें लावा है। बॉक्स में एचटीसी को सोनी के नीचे किसी भी स्थान पर रखा गया है। जिस बॉक्स में Apple है, उसे मोटो वाले बॉक्स से एक बॉक्स के अंतर पर रखा गया है।

Puzzle 2

Certain numbers of persons are sitting in a row facing north. Two persons sit between G and T. Number of persons sit between M and D is one more than number of persons sit between G and V. Q sits exactly between T and V. At least one person sits between G and D. As many persons sit between G and D sit to the left of K. S and G are immediate neighbors. K sits between M and S. Not more than two persons sit to the left of M. Only one person sits between V and R, who sits second from right end. More than one but less than four persons sit between D and V. Only one person sits between T and D. More than four persons sit between S and Q.
