Seven persons are living on different floors of seven storey building. Ground floor is numbered as 1st and top floor is numbered as 7th floor, also they belong different countries. There are four floors in between S and R, who is from India. P lives on an odd numbered floor just above N, who doesn’t live on 2nd floor. The one who belongs to Japan and lives just above M. The one, who is from Spain, lives on an odd numbered floor. S does not live on ground floor. M does not belong to china. The one, who is from China lives on an odd numbered floor just above the one who is from Australia. S is not from Australia and France. O lives one of the floors above Q. Not more than one floor in between the one who belongs to Japan and the one who belongs to China. The one who belongs to Germany lives on an even numbered floor above P. S is not belongs to Japan.

S भूतल पर नहीं रहता है. M चाइना से संबंधित नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जो चाइना से है, वह ऑस्ट्रेलिया से संबंधित व्यक्ति के ठीक ऊपर एक विषम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. S ऑस्ट्रेलिया और फ्रांस से नहीं है. O, Q के ऊपर किसी एक मंजिल पर रहता है. जापान और चाइना से संबंधित व्यक्ति के मध्य एक मंजिल से अधिक मंजिल नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जो जर्मनी से संबंधित है वह एक सम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर P के ऊपर रहता है. S, जापान से संबंधित नहीं है.

There are seven students – M, N, O, P, Q, R and S – whose fyavorite subjects are- Hindi, English, Math, Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology but not necessarily in the same order. They goes to library on different days of the week starting from Monday. Also they like different colours, viz- Red, Green, Black, White, Yellow, Violet and Orange but not necessarily in the same order.
N, who likes Violet, goes to library fourth day of the week but his favorite subject is neither Hindi nor Biology. Two students goes to library between the days on which N and R goes to library and neither of them go to library 1st day of the week. There is one student goes the library between M and O. But O does not go either on 1st or 3rd day of the week. O likes Green colour and his favorite subject is Hindi. The one whose favorite subject is Math, goes on the last day of the week and like Black colour. P does not go to the library on the day either immediately before or immediately after the day on which M goes to library, who doesn’t like either Yellow or Red or White colour.
S goes to library immediately after O and he likes Red colour. Q does not like Yellow colour and his favorite subject is Chemistry. M’s favorite subject is neither Physics nor Science. The one whose favorite subject is English goes to library immediately after the day when the student whose favorite subject Hindi goes.
M, N, O, P, Q, R और S सात छात्र हैं, जिनका पसंदीदा विषय – हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, गणित, विज्ञान, भौतिकी, रसायन विज्ञान और जीवविज्ञान हैं, परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं की इसी क्रम में हो. वे सभी सोमवार से सप्ताह के भिन्न दिनों में पुस्तकालय जाते हैं. इसके अतिरिक्त वे सभी अलग-अलग रंग पसंद करते हैं, जैसे – लाल, हरा, काला, सफेद, पीला, बैंगनी और नारंगी, परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं की इसी क्रम में हो.
N, जिसे बैंगनी रंग पसंद है, सप्ताह के चौथे दिन पुस्तकालय जाता है लेकिन उसका पसंदीदा विषय न तो हिंदी ना ही जीवविज्ञान है. दो छात्र पुस्तकालय में उन दिनों के बीच जाते है जिस दिन N और R जाते हैं और उनमें से कोई भी सप्ताह के पहले दिन पुस्तकालय में नहीं जाता. M और O के बीच एक छात्र पुस्तकालय जाता है. परन्तु O सप्ताह के पहले या तीसरे दिन नहीं जाता. O को ग्रीन रंग पसंद है और उसका पसंदीदा विषय हिंदी है. जिसका पसंदीदा विषय गणित है, वह सप्ताह के अंतिम दिन पुस्तकालय जाता है और काला रंग पसंद करता है. P पुस्तकालय में उस दिन के तुरंत पहले या तुरंत बाद नहीं जाता जिस दिन M, जो पीला या लाल या सफेद रंग पसंद नहीं करता, पुस्तकालय जाता है.
S, O के तुरंत बाद पुस्तकालय जाता है और उसे लाल रंग पसंद है. Q को पीला रंग पसंद नहीं और उसका पसंदीदा विषय कैमिस्ट्री है. M का पसंदीदा विषय न तो भौतिकी न ही विज्ञान है. जिसका पसंदीदा विषय अंग्रेजी है वह उस दिन के तुरंत बाद पुस्तकालय जाता है जिस दिन हिंदी विषय पसंद करने वाला छात्र जाता है.
