In view of preventive measures to be taken to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus COVID-19, and the further extended lockdown period announced by Government of India (GoI) until 31 May 2020, the date of pre-Bid conference, Closing and Opening dates of bids/offers indicated after the issue of Corrigendum No.3 is hereby revised further and the fresh dates are updated on IREPS website soon. The pre-bid conference which is scheduled to be held at RRB Chennai’s office may also be held through video conferencing depending on the prevalent situation on that date. As mentioned vide corrigendum 3 no newspaper advertisement will be released in this regard soon. You may log on to www.ireps.gov.in website for any further revision in dates/updates.

What is RRB NTPC 2020?

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced RRB NTPC 2020 notification under Centralised Employment notice no. CEN 01/2019. The exam will be conducted to select candidates for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) graduate and undergraduate posts in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. The posts included under RRB NTPC are mentioned below:

According to the official application data of RRB NTPC, a total of 1,26,30,885 applications have been received for the recruitment of the RRB NTPC exam as against 35,208 vacancies. 

Selection Process of RRB NTPC

The selection process of RRB NTPC comprises, 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable), and Document Verification/Medical Examination.

RRB NTPC 2020 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, blue tooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, wristwatches, etc are not permitted inside the exam center.
  • Pen, pencil, wallet/purses, belts, shoes, and ornaments, etc. are also not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates must bring RRB NTPC admit card 2020 while appearing for the exam
  • They need to carry photo-identity proof like Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar (not Xerox copy of Aadhaar), Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Identity Card issued by the employer, College / University Photo ID card
  • Candidates must also bring one color photograph
  • Candidates must reach the exam centre an hour early before the commencement of exam
