AP Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme 2023
On 21st December 2021, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme 2023. Through this scheme, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to waive off all the loans and their interest on the government-sanctioned houses and provide beneficiaries full rights over their property. For availing of the benefit of this scheme, the beneficiaries are required to make a payment of the nominal amount. The announcement to launch this scheme was made by the Chief Minister at a function at Tanuku in West Godavari district. Over 5.2 million families will be benefited from this scheme. The government is going to provide a registered title deed on payment of a nominal amount under a one-time settlement plan. Beneficiaries will also be provided with registration documents.
OTS Initiative Under Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a loan facility for the one-time settlement scheme for beneficiaries under Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme on 28 February 2022. The Chief Minister has said that the beneficiary from Guntur municipal corporation paid Rs 20000 and got the clear title for their property without any litigation. In turn, they mortgaged their property and got a loan of Rs 300000 so that it would help their families to have a better life. Under this scheme, the beneficiary will get Rs 15000 with the complete exemption of registration charges and stamp duties. Rs 10000 crore worth of debts were waived through the OTS scheme. In addition to stamp duty exemption of Rs 1600 crore. The officials were directed by the CM to complete the registration of properties for OTS beneficiaries within the stipulated time
Government To Waive Off Rs 10 Thousand Crore Outstanding Loans
After paying the nominal value the beneficiaries can pass on the asset to the next generation, avail of a loan, and also sell their property at the market rate. Through Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme 2023 scheme the Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to waive off about Rs 10 thousand crores in outstanding housing loans. These loans have taken from the AP Housing board corporation in 2011. Nearly 52 lakh people will get benefit from this scheme. As a part of the scheme, the Chief Minister has also distributed registered documents to 826000 people who have enrolled in this scheme. Other than that those citizens who have constructed houses in the government-allotted lands with their own money and don’t have full rights can also avail of registration by paying just Rs 10. The government has been spending Rs 6000 crores for free registration alone under this scheme.
Nominal Value To Be Paid For Availing Benefit Of This Scheme
In order to avail of the benefit of the Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku 2023, the beneficiaries require to pay a nominal amount of Rs 10000 in villages, Rs 15000 in the municipality, and Rs 20000 in Municipal corporations. If the loan amount is less than the stipulated amount then the beneficiaries can pay the outstanding loan amount and can get the rights to their property. Beneficiaries can register under this scheme till April 2022. After paying nominal value the beneficiary’s property would remove from the prohibited land under section 22(A). In order to ease the registration process beneficiaries can also register their property at the village and ward secretariat without any kind of additional cost. Beneficiaries do not require to provide any link documents to carry out any transaction related to the property.
