SBI CLERK Pre Targeted Puzzles :

Puzzle 1

Seven students Priyal, Queen, Riya, Shivani, Taruna, Unnati and Weom have weekly off on different days of the week starting from Sunday to Saturday in such a way that only one person has holiday only on one day but not necessary in the same order.


Riya neither have off just after nor just before Priyal. Shivani neither has weekly off on the first nor on the last day of the week. Equal number of persons are having off before and after Priyal. No one have off before Taruna. Number of persons having off between Taruna and Riya is same as between Unnati and Shivani. Riya does not have off before Queen. Weom does not have weekly off before Queen.

Puzzle 2

Mani, Nitesh, Ojasvee, Priyal, Queen, Riya, Jaya and Kavya are sitting in a straight line but not necessarily in the same order. Some of them are facing south while some are facing north.

Only two people sit to the right of Mani. Nitesh sits third to the left of Mani. Only one person sits between Nitesh and Riya. Riya sits to the immediate right of Queen. Only one person sits between Queen and Kavya. Both the immediate neighbours of Nitesh face the same direction. Mani faces north. Ojasvee sits third to the left of Riya. Nitesh faces the opposite direction of Mani. Jaya does not sit at any of the extremes ends of the line. Priyal faces the same direction as Queen. Both Jaya and Ojasvee face the opposite direction of Kavya.

Puzzle 3

Eight persons Priyanka, Queen, Risabh, Shivani, Taruna, Unnati, Varsha and Weom likes different mobiles- Lenovo , Apple , Samsung , Motorola , Asus , Xiaomi , Acer and Intel (but not necessarily in the same order). Also, they have different income i.e. 2000, 5000, 3000, 4500, 6533, 5523, 6400, and 7000 (but not necessarily in the same order).

Unnati’s income is a perfect square. Priyanka likes Samsung. Income of the one who likes Apple is more than the one who likes Lenovo. Income of the one who likes Acer is 2000. Varsha’s income is an odd number. Taruna likes Intel and Queen likes Xiaomi. Risabh’s income is 1500 more than Queen’s income. Weom doesn’t like Asus and Motorola. Priyanka’s income is 2.5 times of Weom’s salary. Varsha and Unnati either likes Lenovo or Apple. Risabh doesn’t like Asus. Taruna’s income is an odd number which is divisible by 3.

Puzzle 4

Eight candidates are going to attend lecture on two different dates-14th and 29th of the four different months starting from March to June.

Only three candidates attend lecture between Varsha and Unnati, who goes in the month which has an even number of days. More than four candidates attend lecture after Priyal. Only two candidates attend lecture between Taruna and Priyal, who attends on an even number date. Varsha attends lecture immediate after Riya, but not in the same month. Queen and Weom attend lecture on the same date but in different month. More than one candidate attend lecture between Shivani and Weom. Unnati and Taruna doesn’t attend lecture in the same month.

Puzzle 5

Eight persons are sitting in two parallel rows containing four people each, In row–1 Avantika, Brijesh, Caryl and Diksha are seated and all of them facing south while In row-2 Priyanka, Queen, Riya and Saumya are seated and all of them are facing north. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement each member seated in a row faces another member of the other row. All of them like a different colour.

Brijesh is seated second to the right of the person who likes Yale. Caryl is seated opposite to the person who likes Olive, who is seated second to the left of Saumya. Queen is seated immediate left of the person who likes Beige. Avantika is seated immediate right of the person who likes Grey. The person who likes White is seated opposite to Brijesh. Priyanka is seated opposite to the person who likes Green but not at the end. Caryl likes neither Orange nor Blue. The one who likes Blue face south.

  1. Sir, is the solution of puzzle no 4 of 25/02/20 is right. In fact there is a statement saying only two candidates attend lecture between priyal and Tarun, who attends on an even no date.Then how did u put Tarun on 29th april.sir please explain.
