A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are eight students of a school. They study in Std VI, VII and VIII with not more than three in any Std. Each of them has a favourite subject from Physics, Geography, English, Marathi, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Economics not necessarily in the same order.
D likes Chemistry and studies in Std VIII with only H. B does not study in Std VII. E and A study in the same Std but not with B. C and F study in the same Std. Those who study in Std VI do not like Mathematics or Biology. F likes Physics. The one who studies in Std VIII likes English. C does not like Geography. A’s favourite subject is Marathi and G does not like Biology.

Mains Level Puzzle :
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H live on 8 different floors of a building, the lowermost floor is numbered as 1 and the topmost floor is numbered as 8. They all go for a vacation in four different months i.e. January, April, November, and December of the same year (not necessarily in the same order) on dates i.e. 15, 8. Only 1 person goes on each day.
There are only three persons live between the one who goes for a vacation on 8th January and 8th December. D lives on an odd-numbered floor and goes for a vacation on an odd-numbered date of the month which has 31 days. E doesn’t go for a vacation on 15th January and doesn’t live on the 2nd floor. There is only one person lives between the floors of the ones who go on vacation on 15th December and 15th April. A goes for a vacation on an odd-numbered date and also lives on an odd-numbered floor. Only 2 persons live between A and the one who goes for a vacation on 8th January. C goes for a vacation on an odd-numbered date. H lives on an odd-numbered floor and goes for a vacation just after C goes. There are more than 3 person lives above D. E lives on an even-numbered floor and lives just above B’s floor. Only one person goes for a vacation before the one who lives on the top floor. B goes for a vacation on 15th November. F goes for a vacation one of the days before G goes.
