Pre Level Puzzle :

Seven friends T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z are students of a school studying in different subjects VI, VII and VIII. Not less than two and not more than three students study in each standard each of them likes to play a different sport in his spare time viz, Carrom, Badminton, Chess, Scrabble, Cards, Table Tennis and Basket Ball, but not necessarily in the same order.

X does not study in standard VI and likes Table Tennis. The one who like Chess studies in Standard VIII. U studies in Standard VII only with Y. V likes Carrom and studies in the same standard as W and T. No one studying in Standard VI like Badminton and Cards. W does not like Basket Ball and U does not like cards.

Mains Level Puzzle :

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a square table, four of them sit at four corners while four sit at the middle of the sides. The one who sit at the corners face the centre while who sit at the middle face outside. Also each person belongs to different countries i.e. Austria, India, China, Japan, Switzerland, Australia, England, and Italy (not necessarily in the same order).

The one who belongs to China sits third to the left of D. There are only two persons sit between D and E. The one who belongs to Japan sits opposite to the one who belongs to India. C belongs to Australia and doesnâ€™t face the same direction as E faces. The ones who belong to England and Italy sit opposite to each other. A sits third to the right of the one, who belongs to Austria. E and G face opposite direction of each other. E does not belongs to China. The one who belongs to India sits immediate right of E. D doesnâ€™t belong to Japan and E doesnâ€™t belong to Italy. H doesnâ€™t face the centre and F doesnâ€™t belong to Italy. B doesnâ€™t sit just near to D.
