Puzzle 1

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting in a circular table with equal distance from each other and facing centre of the table. They are belongs to different states of India viz., Assam, Bihar, Odisha, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab and Rajasthan but not necessary in the same order.


The one who belongs to Bihar sits third to the left of D. Only one person sits between E and the one who belongs to Bihar. The one who belongs to Kerala sits second to the right of C, who is an immediate neighbour of neither D nor E. C does not belong to Bihar and Haryana. Only one person sits between the one who belongs to Kerala and Haryana. The one who belongs to Karnataka sits third to the right of F, who is not an immediate neighbour of E. A sits immediate right of the one who belongs to Karnataka. B sits second to the left of H. The one who belongs to Assam sits third to the right of the one who belongs to Rajasthan but neither of them is an immediate neighbour of D. F does not belong to Odisha.

Puzzle 2

There are eight persons namely A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H seating around a square table but not necessary in same order. They are seating in a way that four person seated at corner and four person seated at middle of the side. All are facing towards center. They are from eight different cities namely Ranchi, Ahmedabad, Mangalore, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, Bhopal and Dehradun.

D sits second to the left of E. The one who is from Ranchi sits opposite of E.Only two persons sit between the one who is from Bhopal and the one who is from Ranchi. C is from Mangalore and sits opposite of D. B is from Lucknow and sits second left of A, who is from Dehradun. Only one person sits between the one who is from Bhopal and A. H and F are immediate neighbors and F is neither from Ranchi nor from Guwahati. E is neither from Guwahati nor from Jaipur. G does not sit at corner.

Puzzle 3

Eight persons B, C, D, E, F, G, H and J are sitting in a straight row facing south. They all are like different colours viz., Violet, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink and White but not necessary in the same order.

Only two persons are sitting between the one who likes Red and C, who sits second from the either ends of the row. B sits immediate left of the one who likes Red. E sits third to the left of the one who likes Violet. As many persons sitting to the left of E is same as sitting to the right of the one who likes Yellow. G sits second to the right of the one who likes Blue. G is not an immediate neighbour of B, who does not like Blue. The one who like Pink sits immediate left of H. Only two persons are sitting between the one who likes Pink and F. As many persons are sitting between J and the one who likes Pink is same as sitting between D and the one who likes White. The one who likes White does not sit at any of the extreme ends. C is not an immediate neighbour of the one who likes Green.

Puzzle 4

Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are sitting in a square table in such a way that four of them are sitting at the corners and four of them are sitting at middle of the sides. The persons sitting at corners are facing away from centre of the table and the persons sitting at middle of the sides are facing towards the centre of the table. They all likes different flowers viz., Lily, Lotus, Jasmine, Rose, Begonia, Aster, Iris and Orchid but not necessary in the same order.

Only two persons are sitting between the one who likes Rose and V, who does not sit at any middle of the sides. T sits immediate right of the one who likes Rose. The one who likes Aster sits third to the left of P, who is not an immediate neighbour of T and V. The one who likes Jasmine sits second to the right of the one who likes Aster. Q sits third to the right of U. U does not like Aster. The one who likes Lotus sits immediate left of Q. The one who likes Orchid sits second to the left of W. As many persons sitting between Q and the one who likes Begonia is same as between R and the one who likes Lotus. The one who likes Iris sits third to the left of R. The one who likes Begonia is not an immediate neighbour of the one who likes Jasmine.

Puzzle 5

Eight persons S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z are attending the seminar on 13th and 26th of the four different months viz., March, April, June and July of the same year. They all like different games viz., Cricket, Chess, Golf, Hockey, Badminton, Squash, Tennis and Rugby but not necessary in the same order.

Only three persons are attend the seminars between the one who likes Squash and S, who does not attend the seminar on even numbered date. S does not attend the seminar in the month which has odd number of days. U attends the seminar immediately after the one who likes Squash. The one who likes Badminton attend the seminar immediately before W. As many persons attend the seminar before W is same as after the one who likes Rugby. S does not like Badminton. Only one person attend the seminar between W and Z. Two persons are attend the seminar between Y and the one who likes Cricket, who was attend before Y. Only one person attends the seminar between V and the one who likes Cricket. V does not like Rugby. Only one person attends the seminar between the one who likes Golf and the one who likes Chess. W does not like Chess. As many persons attend the seminars between T and the one who likes Squash is same as between Z and the one who likes Tennis. The one who likes Tennis does not attend the seminar in June.
