Pritam, Munaza, Shail, Tina, Uma, Viru, and Dhruv live on different floors of a building having seven floors numbered one to seven (the ground floor is numbered 1, and the floor above it is numbered 2 and so on. The topmost floor is numbered 7.) All of them like cars of different colours, viz Yellow, Black, Green, Orange, Red, White and Pink but not necessarily in the same order.

There are two floors between the floor on which Munaza and Uma live. Munaza lives one floor below Dhruv’s floor and likes Green car. There are three floors between Dhruv and Pritam. Pritam likes Yellow car and lives on an odd-numbered floor. The one who likes Pink car lives on floor no. 6. The one who likes Yellow car lives on floor no. 3. The one who likes Orange car does not live on an even numbered floor. Neither Shail nor Uma lives immediately above or immediately below’s Tina’s floor. Shail likes white car and there is one floor between the floor on which Tina and Shail live. Tina lives on an even-numbered floor but he does not live on floor no. 4. Pritam lives immediately above Uma’s floor. Viru likes Black car. Uma likes Red car. The one who likes Orange car lives immediately above Tina’s floor.

Puzzle 2

Nine people are sitting around a circular table. Some of them are facing inside and some of them are facing outside. The number of people facing inside is more than the number of people facing outside.

Immediate neighbors of C face opposite directions. T sits third to the right of F. M sits third to the left of X. Three people are sitting between Z and S. P sits fifth to the left of C, who does not face inside. N is not facing outside. T and P face opposite directions. F is not an immediate neighbor of X and M. X sits immediate right of Z. S sits fourth to the right of P.
