A, B, C, D, E, F, G & H work in Army at different levels. They belongs to different places Dehradun, Pune, Shimla, Nainital, Kashmir, Punjab, Ooty & Lonavala(not necessarily in same order). Their ranks are Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Lt. Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier, Major General & General (not necessarily in same order). (Note : Rank increase on moving from left to right à Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Lt. Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier, Major General, General) So, Captain rank is higher than Lieutenant, Similarly, Major Rank is higher than both Lieutenant & Captain, Similarly, Lt. Colonel rank is higher than Captain, Major & Lieutenant ranks, & so on…)
3 people rank’s lie in-between the ranks of the person who belongs to Punjab & F whose rank is higher than the person who belongs to Punjab. E’s rank is higher than the person who belongs to Dehradun. Neither the person who belongs to Nainital nor the person who belongs to Lonavala has the highest rank. H’s rank is higher than D’s Rank but less than E’s rank. C & A belongs to Kashmir & Shimla respectively. No person’s rank in-lie between G & C’s rank. Neither F nor B belongs to Lonavala & Ooty. Neither H nor D belongs to Dehradun. 3 people ranks lie between A & the person who belongs to Lonavala. B is a captain. Atleast 2 person’s rank lie between F & E’s rank. No person’s rank lie between the person who belongs to Nainital & the person who belongs to Pune. Atleast 1 person’s rank lie between E & the person who belongs to Ooty. G’s rank is higher than A’s rank.
