A, B, C, D, E, G and I are seven friends who study in Career Power at three different branches namely Mukharjee Nagar, Dwarka, and Laxmi Nagar such that not less than two friends study in the same branch. Each friend also has a different favourite subject viz. History, Civics, English, G.K., Reasoning, Maths and Economics but not necessarily in the same order. Each of the students attends the classes of his favourite subjects at different time.

B attends his classes at 10 AM. G attends his classes at 7 AM. A likes Maths and studies in the Mukharjee Nagar branch with only one other friend who likes G.K. I studies with two other friends. There is only one hour gap between the time of class of the persons from Dwarka and the one whose favourite subject is G.K. Both the friends who study with I like the same subjects ,which can be either Reasoning or English. D studies in the Dwarka branch with only one person and does not like civics. The one whose favourite subject is Economics takes his class at 8 AM. I attends his class at 8 ‘O clock. The persons whose favourite subjects are Economics and History do not have their classes at the same time. E studies with only one friend. The one who likes history does not study in Mukharjee Nagar nor Dwarka branch. E does not like G.K. subject. C does not like English, Reasoning or Civics. A and the one whose favourite subject is Civics have their class at 11 AM. C attends his class after D.

A, B, C, D, E, G और I सात दोस्त हैं जो कैरियर पावर की तीन अलग-अलग शाखाओं अर्थात् मुखर्जी नगर, द्वारका, और लक्ष्मी नगर में इस प्रकार से पढ़ते हैं कि एक शाखा में कम-से-कम दो मित्र पढ़ते हैं. प्रत्येक मित्र का एक अलग पसंदीदा विषय है, जैसे इतिहास, नागरिकशास्त्र, अंग्रेजी, जी.के., रीजनिंग, गणित और अर्थशास्त्र, परन्तु इसी क्रम में हो यह आवश्यक नहीं. प्रत्येक छात्र अलग-अलग समय पर अपने पसंदीदा विषयों की क्लास लेते हैं.

B अपनी क्लास सुबह 10 बजे लेता है. G अपनी क्लास सुबह 7 बजे लेता है. A को गणित पसंद है और वह केवल एक अन्य मित्र, जिसे जी.के. पसंद है, के साथ मुखर्जी नगर शाखा में पढता है. I दो अन्य मित्रों के साथ पढ़ता है. द्वारका में पढने वाले व्यक्ति और जी.के. विषय पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति की क्लास के समय के बीच केवल एक घंटे अंतर है. I के साथ पढने वाले दोनों मित्रों को एक ही विषय पसंद है, जो या तो रीजनिंग हो सकता है या अंग्रेजी हो सकता है. D द्वारका की शाखा में केवल एक व्यक्ति के साथ पढता है और उसे नागरिकशास्त्र पसंद नहीं. जिसका पसंदीदा विषय अर्थशास्त्र वह अपनी क्लास सुबह 8 बजे लेता है. I अपनी क्लास 8 बजे लेता है. जिन व्यक्तियों का पसंदीदा विषय अर्थशास्त्र और इतिहास है उनकी क्लास एक ही समय में नहीं है. E के साथ केवल एक मित्र पढता है. जिस व्यक्ति को इतिहास विषय पसंद है वह ना तो मुखर्जी नगर और ना ही द्वारका शाखा में पढ़ता है. E को जी.के. विषय पसंद नहीं. C को अंग्रेजी, रीजनिंग या नागरिकशास्त्र पसंद नहीं. A और नागरिकशास्त्र विषय को पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति सुबह 11 बजे क्लास लेते हैं. C अपनी क्लास D के बाद लेता है.

Puzzle 2

Eight persons S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z lives on eight storey building with ground floor being numbered one and the next floor is number 2 and so on. They have their birth date on August, May, September, November, July, December, June, and October but not necessarily in same order.
S lives on even numbered floor above fourth floor. Two people lives between the floors on which S lives and the one who was born in July. Four people lives between the floors of U and X. U lives on even numbered floor above X. The person who was born in May lives on odd numbered floor above the one who born in July and below the floor upon which S lives. Number of people living between the one who born in July and S, is two more than the number of persons between the one who was born in May and U. T was not born in May. As many people live between the one who born in June and October same as between the one who born in May and person T. The person who was born in June lives on one of the floor above the one who born in October and lives on even number floor below 8th floor but not on 4th floor.

Y lives on odd floor immediately above V. Four people lives between the one, who born in December and November. The person who born in December lives on one of the floors above the person who born in November. T lives immediately above Z. V was not born in August. The number of person born between U and the one born in October is less than 3.

U, X के ऊपर सम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. जिस व्यक्ति का जन्म मई में हुआ था, जुलाई में जन्मे व्यक्ति के ऊपर और जिस मंजिल पर S रहता है उसके नीचे विषम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. जुलाई में जन्मे व्यक्ति और S के बीच रहने वाले लोगों की संख्या, मई में जन्मे व्यक्ति और U के बीच रहने वाले व्यक्तियों की संख्या से दो अधिक है. T का जन्म मई में नहीं हुआ. जिन व्यक्तियों का जन्म जून और अक्टूबर में हुआ, उनके बीच रहने वाले व्यक्ति की संख्या मई में जन्मे व्यक्ति और T के बीच रहने वाले व्यक्तियों की संख्या के बराबर है. जून में जन्मा व्यक्ति अक्टूबर में जन्मे व्यक्ति से ऊपर की मंजिल पर रहता है और 8 वीं मंजिल के नीचे की सम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है परन्तु चौथी मंजिल पर नहीं.

Y, V के ठीक ऊपर विषम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. चार व्यक्ति दिसम्बर और नवम्बर में जन्मे व्यक्तियों के बीच रहते हैं. दिसम्बर में जन्मा व्यक्ति नवम्बर में जन्मे व्यक्ति के ऊपर की मंजिलों में से एक में रहता है. T, Z के ठीक ऊपर रहता है. V का जन्म अगस्त में नहीं हुआ. U और अक्टूबर में जन्मे व्यक्ति के बीच जन्मे व्यक्ति की संख्या 3 से कम है.
