Seven friends P, Q, R, S, T, U and V Each of them likes different watches Titan, Fastrack, Tissot, Fossil, Timex, Sonata and Casio. All of them have a different profession, viz Doctor, CA, CS, Player, Professor, Businessman and Reporter, but not necessarily in the same order.

S is a CS but he does not like Fossil or Timex. V is neither a Doctor nor a Businessman, but he likes Timex. R, who is a Professor, does not like Casio or Fastrack. U likes Tissot and he is a Player. P is not a businessman, but he likes Fossil. The one who is a businessman likes Fastrack. T is a Reporter and he does not like Sonata. The one who is a Professor does not like Titan.

Puzzle 2

Five friends, V, W, X, Y, and Z, are living in a five-storey building, but not necessarily in the same order. The ground floor is numbered 1; the floor above it is numbered 2; and so on, until the topmost floor is numbered 5.

The number of people living above V is equal to the number of people living below V. Only two people live between Y and Z. Only two people live between W and X. Only three people live between W and Y. More than two people live below Z.
