Six girls A, B, C, D, E and F sitting in a row and all facing south direction. They are sitting in ascending order of their heights from left to right.

A is not the tallest but sitting exactly between F and B, who is sitting third to the left of C. E is the immediate neighbour of A and B and C is the second tallest.

Solution :

Puzzle 2

Seven friends â€“ Chandani, Diksha, Hemant, Kashish, Mahesh, Nitin and Rohan are comparing their scores of an exam. Following is the information about their scores.

(i) Each of them scored a distinct mark.
(ii) Kashish scored the same marks as the average of the marks scored by Chandani and Diksha where Chandani scored more than Diksha.
(iii) Both Mahesh and Nitin scored less than Hemant but more than Rohan and the marks scored by Rohan is not the least.
(iv)The number of persons who scored more than Kashish is the same as the number of persons who scored less than Kashish.
(v) Chandani scored less than Mahesh.
