The Government of Rajasthan has launched the RGHS Scheme in order to provide medical facilities to the honourable MLA, ex-MLA, and its State Government employees and pensioners. These medical facilities will be provided under various rules, schemes, and medical insurance policies. Other than that the autonomous bodies/boards/corporations are providing these medical facilities through their own regulations. All the hospitals that are run by the government, approved hospitals, and public-private partnership hospitals can provide medical facilities under this scheme. If there is some emergency then the treatment will be allowed in referral hospitals after the due reference from the competent authority. Objective Of RGHS Scheme
The main objective of the RGHS Scheme is to provide medical facilities to the Government employees of Rajasthan. Now the Government employees of the state are not required to worry about the medical expenses because the government is going to cover their medical expenses. This scheme will ensure the timely treatment to the beneficiaries. The Rajasthan government health scheme will also improve the standard of living. RGHS Scheme Claim Settlement And Coverage
As you all may be aware the Rajasthan government health scheme has been announced by the Honorable Chief Minister of Rajasthan in the budget speech for the financial year 2021. Through this scheme, medical facilities are provided to beneficiaries. The claim settlement under the RGHS Scheme will be done through the IT platform of RGHS which is the RGHS portal and the electronic medical record of each beneficiary will be stored in the RGHS card holder’s E-wallet. The catastrophic illness will be treated as a case of emergency. If any dispute arises between any of the parties then it will be settled by district-level grievance redressal committee, state-level grievance redressal committee, and appellate authority. The pre-authorization for the treatment will be taken at the hospital level.
