Women can get various types of skills and can learn leadership development skills, like in economic empowerment, health sector, education sector, and other skills. This scheme means financial support will be provided to minority women through instalments.
Benefits of Nai Roshni Scheme 2022
The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India has launched the Nai Roshni Scheme 2022 for the women minority community of the country. This scheme will help them economically. This scheme will provide training facilities for minority women to make them confident and capable of leadership. Through this scheme, women can get knowledge, tools, and techniques in different training programs for leadership development.
The various types of training leadership development modules, such as health, sanitation, economic empowerment, and many more. The government of India provided training for women through training institutions. At least 25 women have been selected from rural areas under the training program. At least 10% of the total 25 have passed the 10th class. In the training program, only five women have been selected from the village.
Through this Nai Roshni scheme, about 3.37 lakh women who are in the minority will be benefited. The amount budgeted for training was Rs 1000 lakh and expenditure was Rs 710 lakh in the year 2019-2020, but in 2020-2021 the budget was allocated Rs 600 and the amount of expenditure was Rs 600.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria must be only for minority women in India. The organisation will assure you that they will provide training. The organisation will access resources, dedication, and manpower, to conduct training in cities and villages. The organisation that has selected them must be required to be involved to make the process easier. The selected people must have to visit cities and villages from time to time. The eligible women’s organisation will provide training courses.
