There are 7 friends namely A, D, B, C, G, E, F living on different floors of a seven-story building but not necessarily in the same order. Also, they belong to different cities i.e. Sultanpur, Etawah, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Azamgarh, Banaras but not necessarily in the same order.
C is not from Etawah or Azamgarh. B lives on an even-numbered floor and belongs to Gorakhpur. There are two floors between A, who belongs to Lucknow and B. A lives above B. G lives on an odd-numbered floor below floor 4. The one who is from Sultanpur lives just above the one who belongs to Etawah. Neither B nor G is from Etawah or Sultanpur. More than 4 persons live between the one from Lucknow and Kanpur. There are as many persons living between A and E as there are in between E and F. D lives above C. More than 1 person lives between D and C.
