Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme
The Telangana government has introduced the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme for women from families in which people are unable to marry their daughters or families who consider women in their household a burden. For the marriage of women, the lower class people have to face financial problems, due to which the head of the family also has to face mental problems.
Through the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme 2021, the Telangana government has promised to provide several benefits to those married women. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided through financial funds in the account of the mother of the bride to provide financial support for the wedding. So that there is no financial disturbance in the marriage of the bride.
Components of the Scheme
The Chief Minister of Telangana State has announced the Kalyan Laxmi Yojana in two components. Those two components are given as follows –
- Kalyan Laxmi Yojana has been started for the Hindu minorities below the poverty line.
- Shaadi Mubarak is for the Muslim community brides.
Incentives Under the Scheme
Under the Kalyan Laxmi Yojana, both components have provided several incentives by 2021-
- Kalyan Laxmi Yojana was originally launched under 2014. And the government provided assistance of Rs.51,000 at that time.
- Again under this scheme, in the year 2017, financial assistance of Rs 75,116 was provided by the government.
- Then, in the year 2018, financial assistance of Rs 1,00,116 was provided.
Eligibility Criteria
To avail this scheme, you will have to fulfill the given eligibility criteria as follows –
- To avail this scheme, the applicant needs to be a native of Telangana.
- Under Kalyan Laxmi Yojana, the bride’s age should be 18 years or more.
- The bride is required to be in the below poverty line category.
- The bride’s family is a minority group.

- On the home page, you have to click on the option of Kalyana Lakshmi Shaadi Mubarak. A new page will open in front of you.
- On that page, you have to click on the Print / Status option according to your category. Then a new page will open in front of you.
- Then you have to enter the Aadhaar Number and Phone Number of the bride there and then you have to click on the Get status and print button.
- In this way, you can check your status.

- Then you have to enter the marriage ID and phone number of the bride there and then you have to click on the Get Details button.
- Then you can change your given details according to your needs. Then click on the Submit button.
- In this way, you can change your details.
