Puzzle 1


Twelve persons are sitting in two parallel rows with equal distance from each other and facing the persons in each row. In row-1, A, B, C, D, E and F are sitting and all of them are facing north. In row-2, P, Q, R, S, T and V are sitting and all of them are facing south. All the information are not necessary to be in the same order.

T faces the person sits second to the left of F and none of them sits at extreme ends of the line.Two persons are sitting between B and the one who faces P, who is an immediate neighbour of T. S faces the person who sits second to the right of E. A and C are immediate neighbours of each other.As many persons sitting between A and B is same as between S and R.Q neither faces A nor faces B.

Puzzle – 2

Seven persons J, K, L, M, N, P and R are born in seven different days of the same week starting from Monday to Sunday but not necessary in the same order. They all are of different professions viz., Pilot, Lawyer, Teacher, Artist, Athlete, Doctor and Journalist but not in the same order.

Only one person was born between the one who is a Lawyer and R. The number of persons born before and after R is same. The one who is an Athlete was born immediately after P. Three persons are born between M and the one who is an Athlete. M is not a Lawyer.Two persons are born between J and the one who is a Teacher. Asmany persons born before J is same as after the one who is an Artist. R is not a Teacher.N was born immediately after the one who is a Journalist, who does not born on Monday. Only one person was born between J and the one who is a Doctor. K is not a Teacher.

Puzzle 3

Eight persons are sitting in a square table in such a way that four of them are sitting in corners of the table and remaining of them are sitting in middle of the four sides. The persons who are sitting in the corners facing towards centre of the table and the persons who are sitting in the middle of the sides are facing away from the centre.

Only two persons are sitting between R and P, who does not sit in the middle of the side.V sits second to the right of U, who is an immediate neighbour of R. As many persons sitting between R and W is same as the persons sitting between V and Q. W is an immediate neighbour of Q, who does not sit opposite to R. S is not neighbour of V. T sits second to the left of S.

Puzzle – 4

Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are graduated in eight different months viz., February, April, May, June, July, September, November and December of the same year but not necessary to be in the same order.

Only one person was graduated between S and W, who was graduated in one of the months which has 30 days but before July. Two persons are graduated between S and R, who was graduated immediately after Q. V was graduated immediately before U. As many persons graduated after U is same as the persons graduated before T.

Puzzle – 5

Ten persons are living on ten different floors of the same building in such a way that the ground floor is numbered one, the one above floor is numbered two and so on till the topmost floor is numbered ten.

Only four persons are living above J. Two persons are living between J and S. Three persons are living between K and P, who lives one of the floors below K. P does not live on the ground floor. As many persons living between Q and R is same as the persons living between R and O. Q does not live below R. O does not live on the ground floor. As many persons living between Q and L is same as the persons living between S and M. N does not live on the odd numbered floor.
