A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are eight friends sitting around a circular table. Four of them are facing away from the center and four of them are facing towards the centre. Each of them read different newspaper viz. The Hindu, Navbharat Times, Times of India, Hindustan, Economic Times, Dainik Jagran, The Pioneer and Indian Express but not necessarily in the same order. All the given newspaper is in different language viz. English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujrati, Kannada, Malyalam, Marathi and Punjabi but not necessarily in the same order.

D faces away from the center and he reads The Hindu. Both the immediate neighbours of D do not face away from the centre. E sits third to the right of F, who read in Kannada language and faces away from the centre. E reads Pioneer. The person who reads Hindustan sits opposite to D. Times of India newspaper is in Malyalam language. The person who reads Indian Express is not near to G or E. C faces the person who reads Dainik Jagran. C sits third to the left of F. The one who reads in Bengali sits opposite to F. The one who reads in Hindi is not the immediate neighbour of F .The one who reads in Hindi faces away from the centre. A sits second to the left of C . A reads in neither Marathi nor Punjabi. The one who reads in Marathi sits between H and F. B faces away from the centre, and reads Navbharat Times which is not of Hindi language . E faces towards the centre and read the newspaper which is of English language. Both the immediate neighbors of E face away from the center and both of them read in either Bengali or Gujrati .

A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H आठ मित्र एक वृताकार मेज के चारो ओर बैठे है. इनमे से चार का मुख केंद्र के विपरीत ओर है जबकि चार केंद्र की ओर मुख करके बैठे है. इनमे से प्रत्येक अलग-अलग समाचार पत्र पढता है अर्थात. द हिंदू, नवभारत टाइम्स, टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया, हिंदुस्तान, इकोनॉमिक टाइम्स, दैनिक जागरण, द पायोनियर और इंडियन एक्सप्रेस परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो. दिए गए सभी समाचार पत्रों की भाषा अलग है अर्थात. अंग्रेजी, हिंदी, बंगाली, गुजराती, कन्नड़, मलयालम, मराठी और पंजाबी परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो.

D का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर है और वह द हिन्दू पढता है. D के दोनों निकटतम पड़ोसियों का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर नहीं है. E, F के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है, F जोकि कन्नड़ भाषा में पढता है और उसका मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर है. E, पायोनियर पढता है. वह व्यक्ति जो हिदुस्तान पढता है, D के विपरीत बैठा है. टाइम्स ऑफ़ इंडिया समाचार पत्र मलयालम भाषा में है. वह व्यक्ति जो इंडियन एक्सप्रेस पढता है G या E के पास नहीं बैठा है. C का मुख दैनिक जागरण पढने वाले व्यक्ति की ओर है. C, F के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. वह व्यक्ति जो बंगाली भाषा में पढता है, F के विपरीत बैठा है. वह व्यक्ति जो हिंदी में पढता है F का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जो हिंदी में पढता है उसका मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर है. A, C के बायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. A न तो मराठी न ही पंजाबी में पढता है. वह व्यक्ति जो मराठी में पढता है H और F के मध्य बैठा है. B का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा में है और वह नवभारत टाइम्स पढता है जोकि हिंदी भाषा में नहीं है. E का मुख केंद्र की ओर है और वह अंग्रेजी भाषा के समाचार पत्र को पढता है. E के दोनों निकटतम पड़ोसियों का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर है और दोनों या तो बंगाली या गुजराती में समाचार पत्र पढ़ते है.

Puzzle 2

Seven Persons P, Q, R, S, T, U and V live on seven different floors of a building, but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor of the building is numbered one; the one above it is number two and so on till the topmost floor is number seven. Each of them belong to different profession i.e.- Engineer, Doctor, Chemist, Dentist, Architect, Mechanic, Cashier but not necessarily in the same order. They all like different dish- Nihari Gosht, Butter Chicken, Samosa, Chicken Dum Biryani, Malai ki kheer, Dahi bhalla and Malai Kulfi but not necessarily in the same order.

Only one person lives between the one who is Architect and the one who is Mechanic. S is not Architect. V is not Engineer. The one who likes Dahi bhalla live immediate above the one who is Architect. T lives on one of the floors below Q, but does not live on the lowermost floor. The one who lives on 7th floor is immediate above the one, who lives immediate below the one who likes Malai Kulfi. There are three persons live between Q and T. The one who is Dentist lives on one of the odd-numbered floors below U. P lives immediately above U . P is not Chemist. U does not like Chicken Dum Biryani and Butter Chicken. The one who likes Samosa live immediately above the one who likes Malai ki kheer. The one who is Mechanic is also likes Butter Chicken. Only one person lives between Q and the one who is Chemist. The one who likes Malai ki kheer lives below the one who likes Nihari Gosht. Only two persons live between V and the one who is Chemist. The one who is Doctor live on one of the even-numbered floors but above the one who is Chemist. The one who is Cashier lives immediately above V, who is not Mechanic. S lives on one of the floors above R. V neither lives on first nor seventh floor.

सात व्यक्ति P, Q, R, S, T, U और V सात मंजिला एक ईमारत में रहते हैं.लेकिन इनका क्रम यही हो आवश्यक नहीं है. ईमारत की सबसे निचली मंजिल की संख्या एक, उससे ऊपर संख्या दो और इसी तरह शीर्ष मंजिल की संख्या सात है. उनमें से प्रत्येक भिन्न व्यवसाय से सम्बंधित हैं जैसे: इंजिनियर, डॉक्टर, केमिस्ट, डेंटिस्ट, आर्किटेक्ट, मैकेनिक, केशियर लेकिन इनका क्रम यही आवश्यक नहीं है. वे सभी भिन्न व्यंजन पसंद करते हैं- निहारी गोश्त, बटर चिकन, समोसा, चिकन दम बिरयानी, मलाई की खीर, दही भल्ला और मलाई कुल्फी लेकिन इनका क्रम यही हो आवश्यक नहीं है.

केवल एक व्यक्ति आर्किटेक्ट और व्यक्ति जो मैकेनिक है के बीच रहता है. S आर्किटेक्ट नहीं है. V इंजिनियर नहीं है. व्यक्ति जो दही भल्ला पसंद करता है आर्किटेक्ट के ठीक ऊपर रहता है. T Q के नीचे वाली किसी एक मंजिल पर रहता है लेकिन सबसे निचली मंजिल पर नहीं रहता है. व्यक्ति जो 7वीं मंजिल पर रहता है वह उस व्यक्ति के ठीक ऊपर है जो मलाई कुल्फी पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक नीचे रहता है. तीन व्यक्ति Q और T के बीच रहते हैं. व्यक्ति जो डेंटिस्ट है U के नीचे विषम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. P, U के ठीक ऊपर रहता है. P केमिस्ट नही है. U को चिकन दम बिरयानी और बटर चिकन पसंद नहीं है. व्यक्ति जो समोसा पसंद करता है वह मलाई की खीर पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक ऊपर रहता है. व्यक्ति जो मैकेनिक है वह भी बटर चिकन पसंद करता है. केवल एक व्यक्ति Q और केमिस्ट के बीच रहता है. व्यक्ति जो मलाई की खीर पसंद करता है वह निहारी गोश्त पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के नीचे रहता है. केवल दो व्यक्ति V और केमिस्ट के बीच रहते हैं. व्यक्ति जो डॉक्टर है वह सम संख्या वाली किसी एक मंजिल पर रहता है लेकिन केमिस्ट के ऊपर रहता है. व्यक्ति जो केशियर है V के ठीक ऊपर रहता है जो मैकेनिक नहीं है. S,R के ऊपर किसी मंजिल में से एक पर रहता है. V ना तो पहली और ना सातवीं मंजिल पर रहता है.
