Puzzle 1

A, B, C, D, and E five friends belong to different cities viz, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata and also working in different banks viz, SBI, Axis Bank, HDFC and ICICI bank but not necessarily in the same order. Two of them belong to Delhi and two are working in SBI. The one who is working in Axis bank belongs to Mumbai. Neither A nor C belongs to Delhi. The person who belongs to Delhi is not working in SBI. B, who does not belong to Kolkata, is working in SBI. Neither A nor E are working in SBI and HDFC.

Solution :

Puzzle 2

Seven representatives of a company â€“ Samir, Nita, Richa, Shweta, Georje, Paul and Mohit â€“ travelled to three different countries, i.e. South Africa, Australia and France. Each of them travelled on different days of the week (no two persons travelled on the same day), starting on Monday and ending on Sunday. Minimum two people travelled to each country and South Africa is the only country to which three people travelled.

Samir travelled to South Africa on Monday. Paul travelled to Australia but neither on Tuesday nor on Saturday. Mohit travelled on Sunday but not to France. The one who travelled to Australia travelled on Tuesday and the one who travelled to France travelled on Saturday. George travelled on Wednesday, Richa travelled to South Africa but not on Thursday. Nita did not travel to France.
