IB Security Assistant Exam Pattern
Tier-I

- Tier 1 exam will be held for 100 Marks.
- From the above-mentioned Five subjects, from each subject, 20 questions are asked.
- Each question contains 1 Mark.
- The duration of the test is 1 hour.
- The exam is objective type and for every wrong answer, 1/4th negative marking will be deducted.
- This is common for both posts.
Tier II
Tier – II | Descriptive type: a) Translation of a passage of 500 words from a local language/ dialect to English and vice versa | 40 Marks | 1 hr |
b) Spoken ability (to be assessed at the time of Tier – III exam (Interview/ Personality test) | 10 Marks | – |
The Tier-II exam is qualifying in nature. The qualifying marks in Tier II are 20 out of 50 for Security Assistant/ Executive and 16 out of 40 for MTS/General.
Tier-III
- Personal Interview held for 50 Marks
- This is only for Security Assistant Post.
