Eight aliens V, N, K, G, O, D, Z and T from different planets Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Pluto, Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Mercury are sitting around a rectangular table facing towards the center but not necessarily in same order. Each alien is facing another alien of opposite side. Only three are sitting on each longer side while one on each of the smaller sides. O is sitting second to the right of the alien who is from Mercury. G is sitting third to the left of the alien who is from Jupiter. The alien from Pluto is sitting third to the right of the alien from Mercury, who is not sitting diagonally opposite the alien from Uranus. The alien from Pluto is third to the left of K. D sits second to the left of T. The alien from Uranus sits opposite to the alien from Venus. D and Z are sitting opposite to each other. K is sitting diagonally opposite the alien who is from Mars. N is sitting opposite the alien who is from Neptune. The alien from Pluto is sitting second to the right of the alien from Venus and second to the left of V, who is not sitting near the alien who is from Mars. Z is sitting on the smaller side and to the immediate right of the alien who is from Mars. Aliens from Venus and Pluto are not on the same side of the table.

O, मरकरी से सम्बंधित एलियन के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. G, जुपिटर से सम्बंधित एलियन के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. प्लूटो से सम्बंधित एलियन, मरकरी से सम्बंधित एलियन के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है, मरकरी से सम्बंधित एलियन, युरेनस से सम्बंधित एलियन के तिरछे विपरीत नहीं बैठा है. प्लूटो से सम्बंधित एलियन, K के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. D, T के बायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. युरेनस से सम्बंधित एलियन, वीनस से सम्बंधित एलियन के विपरीत बैठा है. D और Z एक दुसरे के विपरीत बैठे है. K, मार्स से सम्बंधित एलियन के तिरछा विपरीत बैठा है. N, नेपच्यून से सम्बंधित एलियन के विपरीत बैठा है. प्लूटो से सम्बंधित एलियन, वीनस से सम्बंधित एलियन के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर रहता है और V के बायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है, V जोकि मार्स से सम्बंधित एलियन के पास नहीं बैठा है. Z, छोटे पक्ष की ओर बैठा है और मार्स से सम्बंधित एलियन के ठीक दायें बैठा है. वीनस और प्लूटो से सम्बंधित एलियन मेज की समान ओर नहीं बैठा है.

Nine persons i.e. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I are living in a same building of an apartment which have 9 floors. Lower most floor is 1st floor, after that 2nd floor, and so on. They all like different brands viz. Levis, Woodland, Zara, Nike, Diesel, Gucci, Adidas, Puma and Lee.
The one who likes Adidas lives above the floor on which D lives. The one who likes Levis lives on odd floor but lives above the 4th floor.G lives on 4th floor. F does not like Adidas and Nike. The one who likes Nike lives on that floor, that is just above the floor on which H lives.There are 3 persons live between the one who likes Levis and H. The one who likes Gucci lives on 3rd floor and H does not like Gucci. A lives immediate below the floor on which the one who likes Lee. B lives above from the floor on which E lives but E does not like Nike. The one who likes Adidas lives on either Top floor or Bottom most floor. F does not like Lee . The one who likes Puma lives just above from the one who likes Woodland. D lives just immediate below from G. There are two floor between the one who likes Adidas and the one who likes Lee. The one who likes Diesel lives below from D. There are five floor between C and H.
नौ व्यक्ति अर्थात A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H और I समान ईमारत के अलग-अलग 9 तल पर रहते है. इस ईमारत का के सबसे नीचे के तल की संख्या 1 है, और इस से उपर के तल की संख्या 2 है और इसी प्रकार. यह सभी अलग-अलग ब्रांड पसंद करते है अर्थात लीवाईस, वुडलैंड, जारा, नाइके, डीजल, गुच्ची, एडिडास, पुमा और ली.
वह व्यक्ति जो एडिडास पसंद करता है, D के उपर तल पर रहता है. वह व्यक्ति जो लीवाईस पसंद करता है विषम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है परन्तु चौथे तल के उपर रहता है. G, चौथे तल पर रहता है. F को एडिडास और नाइके पसंद नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जो नाइके पसंद करता है उस तल पर रहता है, जो H के रहने वाले तल के ठीक उपर स्थित है. यहाँ तीन व्यक्ति, लीवाईस पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति और H के मध्य रहते है. वह व्यक्ति जो गुच्ची पसंद करता है, तीसरे तल पर रहता है और H को गुच्ची पसंद नहीं है. A, ली पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के तल के ठीक नीचे तल पर रहता है. B, E के तल के उपर तल पर रहता है परन्तु E को नाइके पसंद नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जिसे एडिडास पसंद है वह या तो सबसे उपर के तल पर रहता है या सबसे नीचे के तल पर रहता है. F को ली पसंद नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जिसे पुमा पसंद है, वुडलैंड पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक उपर रहता है. D, G के ठीक नीचे रहता है. यहाँ दो तल, एडिडास पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति और ली पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य स्थित है. वह व्यक्ति जिसे डीजल पसंद है, D के नीचे रहता है. यहाँ C और H के मध्य पांच तल स्थित है.
