- The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973
- The Indian Penal Code, 1860
- The Indian Evidence Act, 1872
- The Criminal Law (Amendment) Act and
- The Criminal Minor Acts (including the Information Technology Act, 2000; and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012).

- General Knowledge (Degree standard),
- Test of Reasoning and Mental ability (S.S.L.C. standard).
