Beginner Level

Puzzle 1

Eight friends – Priya, Sonakshi, Vinita, Radhika, Medhavi, Shweta, Ruhani and Kanika are sitting around a circular table. Four of them are facing towards the centre and rest people are facing away from the centre. All of them like a different movie, viz. Befikre, Bajirao, Dilwale, Raees, Kaabil, Shivaay, Dangal and Dear Zindagi, but not necessarily in the same order.


Medhavi faces towards the centre and likes Befikre. Both the immediate neighbours of Medhavi face away from the centre and like Dilwale or Raees. Radhika faces away from the centre. Both the immediate neighbours of Radhika do not face away from the centre. Medhavi sits third to the right of Shweta, who likes Kaabil and faces away from the centre. Vinita sits third to the left of Shweta. The one who likes Dilwale sits opposits of Shweta. The one who likes Bajirao is not the immediate neighbour of Shweta and faces away from the centre. Priya sits second to the left of Vinita and does not like Dangal or Dear Zindagi. The one who likes Dangal sits between Kanika and Shweta. Sonakshi faces away from the centre and does not like Bajirao.

Puzzle – 2

In a garden, benches were placed in a hexagonal pattern. Each bench could accommodate only one person . All the benches forming the edges of the hexagon are equidistant from each other. Six persons –Rahul, Rehan, Reham, Rihan, Rahim, Rohan come for a picnic to the garden and get themselves seated on each chair of the hexagon for a photograph.

Rohan is in the middle of Rahul and Rihan. Rahul is not adjacent to Rihan and Reham. Rahim is not adjacent to Rehan and Rihan. Rehan and Rihan are adjacent to each other. Each of the six persons saw under their benches and found a gift bag containing six different things- chocolate, cake, Candy, Books, ice cream and cards. The person sitting between Rohan and Rahim got ice-cream. The person facing Rohan got Cakes.The person facing Rahul got books and the person facing Rihan got candy.

Moderate Level

Puzzle 3

Eight Friends Abhishek, Romil, Ramesh, Rakesh, Rohit, Rahul, Abhijit, and Anil- are sitting around a circular table, not necessarily in the same order. Four of them are facing inside and others are facing outside. They are belong to eight different cities- Bhopal, Patna, Kolkata, Delhi, Gwalior, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Rajkot. Each of them from different profession-Teacher, Engineer, Doctor, Banker, Lawyer, Architect, HR and MR but not necessarily in the same order.

• Abhijit faces the centre and sits third to the right of Rakesh
who is MR.

• Rohit belongs to Kolkata and sits opposite to the person who belongs to Bengaluru.

• Abhishek, who does not belong to Rajkot is an engineer sits third to the right of Ramesh, who stays in Bhopal.

• The person who belongs to Gwalior and Delhi are facing the same direction (Inside or Outside). Engineer is an immediate neighbour of Doctor and teacher.

• Rahul is sitting between the person who belongs to Kolkata
and the one from Rajkot respectively. Teacher does not faces Architect.

• Romil belongs to Gwalior and Rakesh belongs to Patna. Romil is not near to teacher.

• The person who belongs to Chennai is facing Outward and
immediate neighbor of who belongs to Rajkot. Doctor faces the person who is a Banker, and they both faces inside.

• Anil is immediate neighbor of the persons who belong to
Gwalior and Chennai.

• Rahul, who does not belong to Chennaiis immediate left of
Rohit. Banker sits immediate left of Lawyer.

Puzzle – 4

Eight Teachers P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are teaching different subjects viz. Arts, Commerce, Computer, Java, Mechanics, Electronics, Robotics and Painting but not necessarily in the same order. All of them are sitting around a circular table and facing outside the centre.

• Java and Arts teachers are immediate neighbors’ of each other. P is neither Computer nor Commerce teacher.

• Only one teacher sits between U and Commerce teacher. U
does not teach either Mechanics or Arts.

• P sits third to the left of V. V teaches Robotics. S is not an
immediate neighbor of either P or V. The one who teaches
Painting is an immediate neighbor of S.

• W sits third to the right of S. P and also his immediate
neighbors do not teach Electronics. Only one teacher sits between T and the Electronics teacher. T does not teach computer.

• Three teachers sit between V and the Mechanics teacher. W is not teaching either Electronics or Arts.R does not teach Painting.

Advance Level

Puzzle – 5

There are eight boxes arranged one above another in such a way that the box at the bottom is numbered 1 and the topmost box is numbered as 8. They were in different colours viz. Yellow, Red, Blue, Pink, Brown, Magenta, Black and White but not necessarily in same order. Each box contains different number of Chocolates and will expire in different year viz. 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2028. The number of chocolates in each box is a prime number between 60 and 100. Not more than one box has same number of chocolates.

There are two boxes kept between Yellow coloured box and Red coloured box and neither of them were kept at the top or bottom. The difference between the number of chocolates in yellow coloured box and the box which expires in 2018 is as same the difference between the boxes which expires in 2022 and 2025. The boxes which expire in leap year were kept at odd numbered positions but not on 3rd position. Pink coloured box has 10 chocolates more than Blue coloured box and both were placed one above another. The boxes with least number of chocolates and highest number of chocolates were kept one above another. The White coloured box will expire in 2020. The difference between number of chocolates in the boxes which is at the bottom and topmost is 10 and either of them has least number of chocolates. Yellow coloured box is the first to expire and the Red coloured box is the last to expire. The Magenta coloured box is kept at 5th position from bottom. The boxes which expire in odd numbered year were kept one above another. The black coloured box has 10 chocolates more than the box which expires first. Number of boxes above pink box is as same the number of boxes below Black coloured box. The box which has 2nd highest number of chocolates lies on odd numbered position. The difference between number of chocolates which expires in 2018 and 2028 is more than 10.
