Eight boxes namely M, N O, P, R, S, T and U are placed from top to bottom but not necessarily in the same order. They contain different types of items i.e Medicine, Pen, Vegetable, Fruit, Cloth, Ice-cream, book and Mobile but not necessarily in the same order. Boxes are of different materials i.e Gold, Steel, Silver and Copper material. Exactly two boxes are there of each material. Consider top as 1st position and so on. The following information is known about them.
There is gap of one box between the box T which is Steel material and box R and both are in the top 4 positions when boxes are arranged from top to bottom. The box containing Fruit item is kept immediately below the Silver material box and is of same material as T. Box S is kept somewhere between N and O. Box O is below S. The two Copper boxes are kept vertically adjacent to each other. The box which contain Vegetable is kept exactly between M and the box containing Ice-cream. O doesn’t contain Medicine. There is gap of one box between the box U and box N, which is kept immediately below the box containing Fruit . Box U is below the box N. The box R is not of gold material. The box containing Mobile is placed at even numbered place but is not placed at the bottom. The box which is of Gold material is kept at top and contains either Medicine or book . Box U is not of Copper material. Box M which contains Cloth is of Silver material. The box containing Pen is of Silver material. S doesn’t contain any of Medicine or Mobile . Box R does not contain Pen and mobile.

यहाँ बॉक्स T जो की स्टील का है और बॉक्स R के मध्य एक बॉक्स का अंतर है और जब इन्हें शीर्ष से तल की ओर व्यवस्थित किया जाता है तो दोनों शीर्ष चार स्थानों पर हैं. वह बॉक्स जिसमें फल हैं वह सिल्वर सामग्री वाले बॉक्स के ठीक नीचे है और वह T के समान सामग्री से निर्मित है. बॉक्स S को N और O के मध्य कही रखा गया है. बॉक्स O, S के नीचे है. दो कॉपर बक्से एक दूसरे के साथ लंब रूप से आसन्न रखे गए हैं. वह बॉक्स जिसमें सब्जियां है उसे M और आइसक्रीम वाले बॉक्स के मध्य रखा गया है. O में दवाइयां नहीं है. बॉक्स U और बॉक्स N जो की फल वाले बॉक्स के ठीक नीचे रखा गया है उनके एक बॉक्स का अंतर है. बॉक्स U बॉक्स N के नीचे है. बॉक्स R सोने की सामग्री का नहीं है. वो बॉक्स जिसमें मोबाइल है उसे एक सम संख्या वाले स्थान पर रखा गया है लेकिन उसे तल पर नहीं रखा गया है. वह बॉक्स जो सोने का है उसे शीर्ष पर रखा गया है और उसमें या तो दवाई है या किताब है. बॉक्स U कॉपर का नहीं है. बॉक्स M में कपडे हैं और वह सिल्वर का है. वह बॉक्स जिसमें पेन है वह सिल्वर का ह. S में कोई दवाई या मोबाइल नहीं है. बॉक्स R में पेन और मोबाइल नहीं है.

Eight friends M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T are sitting around a circular table for dinner such that some of them are facing towards the centre of the table and some of them are facing outside the centre of the table. They all lives in the same apartment such that the ground floor is numbered 1 and above it second floor and so on till the topmost floor which is numbered 8. R does not faces outside of the centre. Q sits third to the right of P, who lives on an even number floor and both face same direction. The one who lives on eighth floor sits third to the left of P and 2 nd to the right of the one who lives on 3 rd floor. N and S faces same direction. R, who lives on fifth floor sits third to the right of N, who lives on an even numbered floor but not on 2nd or 6th floor. R is one of the neighbour of P and sits third to the right of M, who faces inside. Q does not live on third floor. The one who lives on 7th floor sits opposite to the one who lives on 6th floor. S sits second to the right of the one who lives on 1st floor. O lives on second floor and faces the same direction as R.

Q, P के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर स्थित है, जोकि एक सम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है और दोनों का मुख समान दिशा में है. वह व्यक्ति जो आठवें तल पर रहता है, P के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है और तीसरे तल पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर रहता है. N और S का मुख समान दिशा की ओर है. R, जोकि पांचवें तल पर रहता है, N के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर स्थित है जोकि एक सम संख्या पर रहता है परन्तु दुसरे या छठे तल पर नहीं रहता है. R, P का एक पडोसी है और M के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है, जोकि केंद्र की ओर मुख करके बैठा है. Q, तीसरे तल पर नहीं रहता है. वह व्यक्ति जो सातवें तल पर रहता है, छठे तल पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति के विपरीत बैठा है. S, पहले तल पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. O, दुसरे तल पर रहता है और उसका मुख R की समान दिशा की ओर है.
