Eight People – Aarti, Gita, Sakshi, Divya, Manisha, Anjali, Lata and Mona live in eight different floors of building (but not necessarily in the same order). The lowermost floor of the building is numbered one, the one above that is numbered two, and so on till the topmost floor is numbered eight. Each one of them likes a different colors which are – Pink, Red, Green, Yellow, Brown, Orange, Black and Blue (but not necessarily in the same order.
Anjali lives an odd numbered floor above the floor numbered four. Only one person lives between Anjali and the one who likes Green. Only three people live between Divya and the one who likes Orange color. Sakshi lives at one of the odd numbered floors above the one who likes orange. Only two people live between Sakshi and the one who likes Pink color. The one who likes Black colour lives immediately above Lata. Lata likes neither Orange nor Pink color. The number of people living above Anjali is same as the number of people living between Anjali and Divya. Manisha does not like Black color. Only three people live between Lata and Aarti. The one who likes Blue color lives immediately above the one who likes Red color, but not on the topmost floor. Only one person lives between the one who likes Blue color and Mona. Only one person lives between Gita and the one who likes Brown color.
