Third Republican debate: 5 candidates qualify for Miami stage

The Republican Nationwide Committee introduced Monday that 5 presidential candidates have met the standards to take part in Wednesday’s third main debate in Miami.

They’re former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott.

Former Vice President Mike Pence, who certified for the primary two debates, dropped out of the Republican main final month.

“We’re wanting ahead to our third debate in Miami, a welcome alternative for our candidates to showcase our profitable conservative agenda to the American individuals,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel stated in a press launch.

To qualify for the third debate, candidates needed to register 4% in both two nationwide polls or one nationwide ballot and two polls from separate early-voting states (Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina). Candidates additionally needed to have reached no less than 70,000 distinctive donors, with no less than 200 donors in 20 states or territories.

The Miami debate will air at 8 p.m. ET on NBC Information and shall be livestreamed on Rumble. Different debate companions embrace Salem Radio Community and the Republican Jewish Coalition.
