As we know the state government of Karnataka, there is information on a wide variety of scholarship possibilities called the State Scholarships Portal for the purpose of awarding different sorts of scholarships to any and all students in Karnataka who meet the requirements and who are qualified. The Portal has a wide variety of welfare departments, each serving a certain kind of category of students. Through the SSP Scholarship Portal, students may apply for Pre Matric and Post Matric scholarships.

• This Portal is where scholarship programmes for both post and pre-Matric students may be found and applied for.
• It is important to note that in order to be eligible for this scholarship programme, applicants must be Karnataka residents.
• Through this portal every student will become Self dependent.

Eligibility Criteria for the State Scholarship Portal

• The participant must be a resident of Karnataka state.
• Technical Education Department: It is required that the applicant’s yearly household income fall anywhere between Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 10 lakh.
• Aspirants for the ST or SC category of the Defence Scholarship need to have parents who are serving in the Army,Navy or Air Force or who are working in the military at a lower level.

Medical Education Department

The applicant’s yearly family income should be between Rs 2.5 lakh and 10 lakh.

Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board

Applicant’s annual family income should be Rs 1,00,000 or less

Department of Disability Welfare:

There is no limit on applicants’ annual income regardless of their category: SC, ST, BCM, Brahmin or general.

Minorities Welfare Department:

Hostel Fee Private hostel/college operated Scholarships for post-matriculation study and reimbursement of fees: The candidate’s yearly household income must be below two lakh rupees in order to qualify for the merit-based scholarship.

Ayush Department:

Fee Reimbursement: The candidate’s yearly household income must be between 2.5 lakh and 10 lakh in order to be eligible for this.

Social Welfare Department:

The candidate’s yearly household income must be between 2.5 lakh and 10 lakh in order to be eligible for this.

Tribal Welfare Department:

The candidate’s family must have a yearly income of Rs. 2.5 lakh or less in order to qualify for the Schedule caste category. Charge: This hostel and college are privately managed.

Create account Procedure for State Scholarship Portal

• First, you have to visit the official website
• The homepage of the Portal has appeared on your screen.
• Click on Create account. New page will be shown.
• Select a Plan on the New page.
• Now Select your Caste or Class.
• Select your district and Taluk of your College or Institute.
• If you have an Aadhar Card Number you have to Click YES
• Enter all required Details and Click on Submit.
• Now you have to enter an Email ID and Phone Number.
• An OTP will be sent to your Phone Number now enter the OTP number in the given box.
• Now enter your caste certificate details such as Category, Religion, and Caste certificate Number.
• Enter your Income certificate details.
• If you have a ration card then enter your Ration Card information.
• Now you have to create your Password and Submit

Students Login Procedure for State Scholarship Portal

• First, visit the Official Website and the homepage will be displayed.
• Click the option Student Login
• Enter your Username, Password and Captcha Code.
• Now Click on Login

Applying Procedure for Post Matric State Scholarship Portal

• First, you have to visit the official website
• The homepage of the Portal has appeared on your screen.
• Click on Click here to apply for the Post Matric scholarship.
• Now Click on the Student Login
• Enter your Username, password and Captcha Code.
• Click on Login Button
• Enter Required Details like Username, Father name, Address etc
• You have to upload all required documents
• Now click on Submit.

Checking State Scholarship Affiliation with bank

• First you have to visit the official website
• The homepage of the Portal has appeared on your screen.
• Click on click here to check your Aadhar Affiliation with a bank.
• A new webpage will be shown now you have to enter your Aadhar card or Virtual ID and Security code
• Click on Send OTP.
• Enter the OTP  into the Box
• Click on Submit Button.

View Procedure Post Matric State Scholarship Status

• First, you have to visit the official website
• The homepage of the Portal has appeared on your screen.
• Click on Track Student Scholarship Status.
• Enter the student’s SATS ID and Financial year.
• Click on the search and the Student’s status reports will be shown on your screen.

View All Important Downloads

• First, you will have to go to the official website of the state scholarship portal.
• A new homepage website will open on your screen.
• You have required to click on the Download.
• Now you have to click on the link of your choice.
• As soon as you click on the link the required file will appear on your screen in PDF format
