South Carolina daycare academics arrested for steering toddlers to battle eachother

Two South Carolina daycare academics face a number of expenses for allegedly directing 3 and 4-year-olds of their care to battle one another and “permit[ing] the violence to proceed with out correction,” police mentioned.

Youngsters Limitless of Prosperity day care staff Ericka Jones, 27, and Serena Caldwell, 56, turned themselves in to authorities on Thursday after warrants have been issued for his or her arrest, per the Newberry County Sheriff’s Workplace. 

Each are charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and illegal conduct to a toddler, in keeping with the division’s Friday press launch.

Jones faces 14 counts of every cost, whereas Caldwell faces 15. 

Daycare proprietor John David Dawkins wrote in a press release supplied to native outlet WIS-TV that Jones and Caldwell have been “instantly terminated” after workers reported their habits and safety footage was seen.
