About Snehapoorvam Scholarship 2021

The scholarship is only available for Orphan children who are residing in the Kerala state of India. Through the implementation of this Snehapoorvam Scholarship, many different benefits and incentives will be provided to the orphans of the Kerala state. These orphans will be able to continue their education without any worry of financial burden or without ever been a financial burden on the family who is undertaking other expenses related to them.

Objective of Snehapoorvam Scholarship 2021

In Kerala, there are around 75000 children who are below 18 years of age and are living in orphanages. In this situation, it is very difficult for them to continue their education. So the Government of Kerala has introduced the Snehapoorvam Scholarship which will help these students to continue their education despite the death of their parents or breadwinner. All the children who are below 5 years of age to class 12th and even to degree colleges are eligible to avail of this scholarship scheme. Through the successful implementation of this scheme, the orphan children will be able to continue their education despite financial problems.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scheme you need to follow the following eligibility criteria given below:-

• The applicant must be a resident of Kerala state
• The applicant must be an orphan
• An applicant must be studying in any of the government or private school of Kerala state
• The applicant must belong below the poverty line
• For children belonging to APL Category, the annual income must be-
  • Below 20,000 for rural areas
  • Below 22,375 or less for urban areas

• On the homepage, you are required to click on SCHOOLS/COLLEGE LOGIN
