The History of Numaish
Numaish was initiated in 1938 by a group of Osmania University graduates to showcase local products. At its inception, it featured only 100 stalls at the Public Grounds. Over the years, the exhibition has been held annually, eventually relocating to its current venue. Originally named the All India Industrial Exhibition, it was rebranded as “Numaish” in 2009—a term derived from Urdu meaning display or exhibition.
