HONOLULU — A Navy aircraft flying in wet climate overshot a runway Monday at a navy base in Hawaii and splashed into Kaneohe Bay, however all 9 aboard had been unhurt, authorities stated.
“We went operating over to the tip of the dock, and I took some photos,” she stated.
Dircks, who’s visiting from Illinois, stated her daughter retains a pair of binoculars on her for birdwatching, so she was capable of see the aircraft and the rescue boats arriving.
