A magnitude 6.0 earthquake has been felt in Darwin, NT, Australia, with no tsunami risk to the nation.

The earthquake occurred off the coast of Indonesia close to the Banda sea at 5.55am on Tuesday. 

The earthquake was felt so far as Darwin, within the Northern Territory, some 700km away from the quake’s epicentre.
