A Gold Coast Metropolis Councillor charged with the homicide of his stepfather will settle for a voluntary suspension from his function in native authorities, in response to his lawyer.

Ryan Bayldon-Lumsden, 30, is accused of killing his stepfather Robert Lumsden, 58, at their Arundel residence on August 23.
