Former first girl Rosalynn Carter has entered hospice care on the Carters’ residence in Georgia, in line with The Carter Middle.
In Could, The Carter Middle shared that the previous first girl, who’s 96, has dementia, though it is unclear when the analysis was given.
“Former First Girl Rosalynn Carter has entered hospice care at residence,” The Carter Middle stated in a press release Friday on behalf of Jason Carter, the Carters’ grandson. “She and President Carter are spending time with one another and their household. The Carter household continues to ask for privateness and stays grateful for the outpouring of affection and assist.”
Jimmy Carter instructed his mom after his first date with Rosalynn Smith that she was the woman he wished to marry. They married on July 7, 1946. The Carters have 4 kids collectively.
