Puzzle 1


Ten persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J are sitting in a straight row facing south but not necessary in the same order.

Only two persons are sitting between A and I, who sits third from either ends of the rows. C sits fourth to the right of E. A is an immediate neighbour of E. As many sitting to the right of C is same as the persons sitting to the left of F. J sits second to the left of H. Only three persons are sitting between B and J. As many persons sitting between B and D is same as sitting between G and H.

Puzzle – 2

Seven persons P, Q, R, S, T, U and V attend seven different exams viz., Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Botany, Zoology, English and Computer on seven different days of the same week starts from Monday to Sunday but not necessary in the same order.

Only two persons attend the exams between the one who attends English exam and R, who attends the exam before Thursday but not on the first day of the week. The one who attends the Physics exam attend immediately after Q. As many persons attend the exams after the onewho attend the Physics exam is same as before V, who does not attend the exam on Thursday. Q does not attend the English exam. R does not attend the Physics exam. Only one person attends the exam between V and the one who attend Chemistry exam. Three persons attend between S and the one who attends Maths exam. U attends one of the days before the one who attends the Maths exam. Only one person attends the exam between T and the one who attends the Zoology exam. T does not attend Computer exam.

Puzzle 3

Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are born in same date and month of eight different years viz., 1972, 1975, 1979, 1984, 1988, 1994, 1997 and 2002 but not necessary in the same order. Their ages were calculated based on the year 2019.

Only three persons are born between S and Q, whose age is one of the prime number. U is not elder than Q. Only one person born between V and W, who is younger than V.As many persons born after R is same as born before V. As many persons born between W and U is same as born between T and Q. Q is not the eldest person. The age of R is not in multiples of 8.

Puzzle – 4

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting in a square table in such a way that four of them are sitting at four corners and four of them are sitting middle of the sides. The persons who are sitting at four corners are facing away from the centre and remaining are facing towards the centre. The persons who are sitting at corners only having different brand of cars viz., Audi, Jaguar, BMW and Benz.

D sits third to the right of the one who has Audi. Only one person sits between D and C. B sits second to the left of the one who has Jaguar. B is not an immediate neighbour of C. G sits immediate right of B. Only two persons are sitting between F and the one who has Benz. E sits immediate right of F. E does not has Jaguar. As many persons sitting between B and D is same as between C and A.

Puzzle – 5

Twelve persons are sitting in two parallel rows with equidistance from each other and facing the person from one row to another row. In row-1, J, K, L, M, N and P are sitting and facing south. In row-2, U, V, W, X, Y and Z are sitting and all of them are facing north but not necessary in the same order.

Y sits second to the right of W. J faces the person who sits third to the right of V. Either V or J sits at one of the extreme ends of the rows. Z is not an immediate neighbour of V. Only one person sitting between P and the one who faces W. As many persons sitting to the left of M is same as sitting to the left of X, who does not sit at any corners of the row. K is not an immediate neighbour of J. Z faces the person who sits immediate right of N, who is not an immediate neighbour of J.
