Puzzle 1

Six persons Jaya, Kavya, Lokesh, Mani, Neelaksh and Ojasvee like different mobiles i.e. Sony , Lenovo , Apple , Samsung , Acer and OnePus. Each of them use different apps i.e. Wechat , Viber , Hike , Faceapp , Like and Halo. All information is not necessarily in same order.


Kavya use Faceapp and does not like Oneplus and Acer. Mani likes Lenovo and does not use Halo and Like. Ojasvee likes Apple and use Wechat. The one who use Viber does not like Lenovo and Oneplus. The one who use Faceapp does not like Samsung. Lokesh likes Oneplus and does not use Like. Jaya does not like Acer and does not use Like.

Puzzle 2

There are seven cartons(Ax, Bx, Cx, Dx, Ex, Fx and Gx) which placed one above the other, where lowermost carton is numbered as carton 1, carton above it is numbered as carton 2 and so on. Each carton contains different number of fruits.Carton Ex, which is at even numbered position,contains 12 fruits.

There are two cartons between carton Ex and Cx, and sum of the number of cartons in carton Ex and Cx is 30.Carton Gx, which is not just below carton Ex, is placed three cartons above carton Fx, which is not adjacent to carton Ex.Average of the number of fruits in carton Gx and the carton which is just below it is 14.Carton Bx is placed two cartons above carton Ax, which contains 6 more fruits than carton G.At least two cartons are placed above carton Dx,which contains 20 fruits.Carton Bx, Fx and Gx contains equal number of fruits.

8 owners Az, Bz, Cz, Dz, Ez, Fz, Gz and Hz owns teams of different countries among India, England, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Australia and Canada are sitting around a circular table . Each of them faces towards the centre of the table and distance between any two adjacent persons is equal.

The owner of team from India sits 2nd to the right of Hz. Cz is not the owner of the team from India.The owner of team from Bangladesh is the neighbor of Hz.Bz sits 3rd to the left of the owner of the team from Bangladesh.The owner of the team from Australia sits immediate right of Gz, who is neither the owner of team from Bangladesh nor India.Bz is not the owner of the team from Australia. Fz sit 2nd to the left of Gz.Ez sits 2nd to the left of Fz. Dz sits 3rd to the left of Ez. The owner of the team from Pakistan sits immediate right of the owner of the team from Sri Lanka, who sits 2nd to the right of Az.The owner of the team from Nepal sits 2nd to the right of the owner of the team from England.

Puzzle 4

Eight people Pawan, Qureshi, Rashid, Sonam, Tarikh, Veer, Wasim and Yogesh like eight different fruits – Papaya, Grapes, Mango, Pomegranate, Guava, Banana, Cherry and Watermelon but not necessarily in same order. They also like different cars namely Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Swift, Maruti, Ertiga and Xylo but not necessarily in the same order.

Rashid doesn’t like Xylo car but likes Banana. Pawan and Tarikh don’t like Mercedes car. Pawan doesn’t like Papaya. Yogesh doesn’t like Watermelon, but likes Honda car. Qureshi’s favourite car is Ertiga. Veer likes Pomegranate. Sonam likes Mango and his favourite car is Maruti. The one who likes Grapes has Mercedes. The one who has swift likes Papaya. The one who like Guava likes Audi car.

Puzzle 5

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H live in an eight floor building. Each of them likes a different chocolate viz. Dairy Milk, Toblerone, Five Star, Munch, Hershey’s, Cadbury, Bar One and Chunky, but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor is numbered 1, above floor is numbered 2 and the topmost floor is numbered 8.

There is only one floor between the one who likes Five Star and the one who likes Chunky. There are two floors between the one who likes Toblerone and C. F lives on an even numbered floor and likes Bar One. Neither A nor B likes Toblerone or Hershey’s. The one who likes Munch lives on floor no. 1. There are three floors between the floor of B and E. F lives above C, who does not live on first floor but likes Dairy Milk. The one who likes Five Star lives on the topmost floor. H does not like Five Star. G lives on the floor number which is between A and F. B lives above E and A. Only one person lives between the one who likes Hershey’s and the one who likes Toblerone.
