Puzzle 1

Eight persons B, D, K, M, R, S, V and W are born in different months viz., January, March, April, May, July, September, October and December of the same year but not necessary in the same order.

Three persons are born between D and W. W does not born in the month which has odd number of days. R was born immediately after B. As many persons born before R is same as after K. As many persons born between B and S is same as the persons born between D and M. M is not younger than both S and W.

Puzzle – 2

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are born in same date and month of different years viz., 1951, 1956, 1962, 1964, 1967, 1972, 1977 and 1984 but not necessary in the same order. Their ages were calculated based on the year 2019.

Only two persons are born between G and E. G’s age was multiple of 5.H was born immediately before E. As many persons born after F is same as the persons born before B. E does not born immediately before or after F. As many persons born between H and A is same as the persons born between B and C.D was born immediately after F.

Puzzle 3

Seven boxes T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z are kept one above another in a stack from bottom to top but not necessary in the same order. Each boxes were in different colours viz., Violet, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red and Pink but not necessary in the same order.

Three boxes are kept between the box Y and the Violet coloured box. More than two boxes are kept below the box Y. The box W was kept immediately below the Violet coloured box. The box X was kept immediately above the Orange coloured box. As many boxes are kept below the Orange coloured box is same as above the Yellow coloured box, which is not kept at the topmost position. Only two boxes are kept between the Yellow coloured box and the box U. The box V is in Green colour. Only one box is kept between the box Z and the Blue coloured box. The box X is not in Red colour.

Puzzle – 4

Eight persons L, M, N, O, P, Q, R and S are sitting around a square table in such a way that four of them are sitting at four corners while four of them sitting at middle of the four sides but not necessary in the same order. The persons who sits at the corners faces the centre and the persons sitting at middle of the sides faces away from the centre.

Only two persons are sitting between L and O, who does not sit at middle of the sides. N sits immediate right of L. Only one person sits between N and S. R sits third to the right of S. As many persons sitting between N and P is same as sitting between L and M. M is not an immediate neighbour of N. Less than two persons sitting between M and P.

Puzzle – 5

Eight persons are sitting in two parallel rows containing four persons in each in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In row-1, J, K, L and M are seated and all of them are facing north and each of them likes different colours viz., Green, Brown, Blue and Red but not necessary in the same order. In row-2, P, Q, R and S are seated and all of them are facing south and each of them likes different colours viz., White, Pink, Yellow and Black but not necessary in the same order. Each person seated in a row faces another person of the other row.

K sits second to the left of the one who likes Red. Q sits to the immediate right of the one who likes Yellow. J sits to the immediate left of the one who likes Blue. The one who likes White faces K. P faces the one who likes Brown but does not sit at either extreme ends of the row. L faces the one who likes Pink. The one who likes Pink sits second to the right of S.
