Puzzle – 1
Seven people A, B, C, D, E, F and G are sitting in a circle. Five of them are facing the centre while two of them are facing opposite to the centre.
G sits third to the left of D and both are facing the centre. B is neither an immediate neighbour of D nor of G. The one sitting exactly between D and F is facing opposite to the centre. G sits third to the right of C and G is facing the centre. One of B’s neighbour is facing opposite to the centre but its not E.
Puzzle – 2
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a rectangular table in such a way that two persons sit on each of the four sides of the table facing the centre. Persons sitting on opposite sides are exactly opposite to each other.
D faces North and sits exactly opposite to H. E; is to the immediate left of H. A and G sit on the same side. G is exactly opposite of B who is to the immediate right of C. A is sitting to the left of D.
Puzzle – 3
M, N, O, P, Q, R, and S are seven people living on seven different floors of a building but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor of the building is numbered 1, the one above that is numbered 2 and so on till the topmost floor is numbered 7. Each one of them have different income i.e. 3500, 15000, 7500, 9000, 11000, 13500 and 5000. (But not necessarily in the same order.)
M lives on an odd numbered floor but not on the floor numbered 3. The one who has income of 11000 lives immediately above M. Only two people live between M and the one who has income of 7500. The one who has income 15000 lives on one of the odd numbered floors above P. P lives on odd numbered floor. Only three people live between O and the one who has income of 15000. The one, whose income is 7500 lives immediately above O. The one, who has income of 3500 lives immediately above the one, who has income of 5000. S lives on an odd numbered floor but not on 3rd floor. Only one person lives between N and Q. N lives on one of the floors above Q. Neither O nor M has income of 9000. Q does not has income of 7500.
Puzzle – 4
Eight persons P,Q,R,S,T,U,V and W live on eight different floors of a building. The ground floor is numbered one and the topmost is numbered eight. Each of them likes a different games i.e. Cricket, Hockey, Table Tennis, Rugby, Chess ,Badminton, Football and Kabaddi.
Only one person lives between R and the one who likes Cricket. P lives
immediately above U, who lives on an odd numbered floor. The one who likes Football lives on an even numbered floor but not on floor no. 8. Only two persons live between U and the one who likes Football. Only one person lives between U and the one who likes Chess. Neither R nor T lives on floor numbered 1. Only two persons live between P and T. the one who likes chess does not live on floor numbered 1st . Q lives on an even numbered floor and immediately above R. The one who likes Kabaddi lives on an even numbered floor and lives immediately above the person who likes Rugby. W lives just below the one who likes Rugby. R does not like Chess or Rugby. Only two person live between the one who likes Badminton and the one who likes Hockey. The one who likes Badminton does not live on an odd numbered floor. S does not live on an odd numbered floor.
Puzzle – 5
Seven people-P. Q, R, S. T. U and V belongs to different cities-Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur. Pune. Kolkata. Chennai and Goa. They also work in different companies-Samsung. Sony. Google and Apple. Not more than two persons work in same company but at least one person work in above mentioned company. They like different brands of laptop-Dell, Lenovo and HP. Not more than three persons likes the same brand of laptop and at least one person like the above-mentioned brand. The following information is known about them-
1) R does not belong to Mumbai and S does not belong to Goa.
2) V belongs to Delhi and S likes Dell laptop.
3) T and V likes same laptop brand and are the only two who like that brand.
4) R and P don’t like same laptop brand.
5) T does not work in Samsung but belongs to either Mumbai or Pune.
6) In which company V works no other person work in the same company he is the only one who works in that particular company.
7) The persons belongs to Goa and Chennai, work in same company and like same brand of laptop and they are the only ones who works in same company and like same brand of laptop (combination of same company and laptop). None of them is R.
8) Two persons work in Samsung.
9) One of the persons who work in Google belongs to Jaipur and and likes either Lenovo or HP. T is not the colleague of employee working in Google.
10) P works in Sony Company.
11) The one who belongs to Kolkata likes Lenovo but does not work in Google.
12) R and U works in same company.
Puzzle – 6
M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T belongs to different teams-Australia, India, Sri Lanka and England. They use different brands of Bat-GM, Reebok, MRF, SG and SS and hits sixes varying 1 to 5. 2 persons belong to each country, not more than 2 persons use the same bat, and hit same number of sixes. The following information is known about them.
i. T belongs to Sri Lanka and hits maximum number of sixes but does not use SG bat.
ii. N and P hit same number of sixes.
iii. The one who hits less number of sixes than both M and P uses SS bat and is the only one uses that bat but doesn’t belong to Australia.
iv. M uses GM bat and either belongs to India or Australia.
v. One of the persons belonging to India hits 3 sixes and uses GM bat.
vi. S does not hit maximum number of sixes and either belongs to India or Australia.
vii. P neither uses MRF nor GM bat.
viii. One of the persons using MRF hits more sixes than O and less than S.
ix. N and S use the same bat.
x. Q hits 2 sixes.
xi. N and Q belong to the same country but not England.
xii. One of the persons belonging to England uses MRF and hits minimum number of sixes but is not R.
xiii. One of the persons who use Reebok belongs to Australia and the other one belongs to India.
xiv. One of the persons belonging to England hits 2 sixes.
