There are seven persons A, B, C, D, E, F and G from different states – Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Odisha, Jharkhand, Gujarat and Rajasthan, but not necessarily in the same order. Each of them plays a different sport – Volleyball, Golf, Tennis, Hockey, Cricket, Football and Basketball, but not necessarily in the same order. Each of them has a different profession – lawyer, doctor, businessman, engineer, teacher, pilot and accountant, but not necessarily in the same order.

C is from Jharkhand and is a doctor. E and F play Cricket and Football, though not necessarily in same order. A is not from Rajasthan. The person from Rajasthan is an engineer and plays Hockey. The lawyer plays Basketball. The businessman from Odisha plays Football. The teacher and the accountant play Volleyball and Tennis, though not necessarily in that order. F is a pilot. The one from Punjab is a teacher. The one from Gujarat plays Tennis. G who is from Haryana, does not play Golf. B is an accountant.

Puzzle – 2

A, B, C, D, E, F and G are friends who are students and their favourite teachers-X,Y and Z. Among these seven friends, three are girls.Each teacher has atleast one student who likes him/ her. Not more than three students like a single teacher. They all go for coaching for five different subjects English, History, polity, urdu, Science. Two students each take coaching for Science,history. One student each goes for coaching of English, Polity and Urdu.

Only C and A have same favorite teachers X, and A take coaching for English. No girl takes coaching for English or polity. E takes coaching for Science and has favourite teacher Y and his brother F studies Urdu in coaching and has favourite teacher Z. D has favourite teacher Y and takes coaching for polity. Neither C nor G take coaching for science. The girl who takes coaching for science does not likes teacher Z.

8 persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a circular table facing the centre. Each of them was born in different months of the same year namely January, February, March, April, May, June, July and August not necessarily in the same order. 3 of them are female and rest are male.

i) Only 2 people sit between B and the one who was born in
April.
ii) Neither H nor B was born in February.
iii) The one who was born in March sits third to the right of G, who was not born in February.
iv) Both F and D were not born in February.

8 persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are sitting in a circle facing the centre. Each of them has a different profession – Doctor, Engineer, Editor, Journalist, Physician, Retailer, Teacher and Scientist. They like different games – Basket Ball, Badminton, Cricket, Cycling, Football, Swimming, Tennis and Wrestling. There are 3 females in the group.

V, who likes Cricket sits second to the right of W. S, who likes
Badminton sits opposite to T, who likes Football. T is a Teacher. S sits to the immediate right of Journalist. W is a scientist and likes Tennis. Puzzle – 5

Eight gift boxes G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7and G8 are purchased from eight different E- commerce websites viz. Flipkart, Amazon, EBay, Snap deal, Yebhi, Myntra, Shop clues and Infibeam which are delivered to Eight different places viz. Bangalore, Raipur, Chennai, Jaipur, Pune, Kochi, Amaravati and Kolkata on six different days starting from Monday to Saturday. All the above information is not necessarily in the same order. At least one and not more than two gift boxes are delivered on a same day. Not more than one Box is bought from same E-commerce website and not more than one box is delivered to the same place.

It is also known that, Two days gap between G2 and G1. G5 is not bought from Amazon. G3 is not delivered to Raipur. The Box G4 is delivered to Chennai on Tuesday. The Box which is bought from EBay is delivered to Kolkata. Number of Boxes delivered after G5 is as same as the number of Boxes delivered before G8. Only one box is delivered on last day. G6 is not bought from Flipkart. The Box which is bought from Myntra is delivered to Jaipur. G2 is delivered at one of the days after the Box G3. G1 is delivered to Bangalore. Box which is delivered to Pune is delivered immediately before the day of Box which is delivered to Kochi. G5 is delivered immediately before or immediately after the day on which G4 is delivered. G1 is delivered on the first day. The Boxes which are bought from Snap deal and Amazon are delivered on a same day. One of the Boxes delivered on Wednesday is bought from Flipkart. Box which is bought from Flipkart is delivered immediately after the box which is bought from Yebhi but immediately before the box which is bought from EBay. Box G3 and G6 are delivered on a same day. Box G7 is bought from Shop clues.
