IBPS PO And IBPS CLERK Targeted Puzzles

Puzzle 1

Seven conferences on Marketing, Finance, HR, Real Estate, Hospitality, Management, and Banking were scheduled to be held in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Bhopal and Chennai, on one day in a week starting from Monday and ending on Sunday.

Conference on Hospitality was held in Hyderabad on Friday. Only one conference was held between conference on hospitality and Finance. Conference on Management was held immediately after HR but immediately before Banking. Conference on Management was not held in Indore. The conference held on Monday was held in Delhi. Only one Conference was held between conferences on Banking and the conference held in Mumbai. The conference on HR was not held in Mumbai. Conference in Pune was held immediately before conference in Indore. Conference on Real Estate was not held on Monday. Conference in Chennai was not held after conference in Mumbai.

Puzzle – 2

Seven friends Mihika, Naveen, Anuj, Pihu, Arjun, Rahane and Sweta live in three different cities viz, Dehradun, Mumbai and Kanpur. All are working with seven different companies, viz TCS, IBM, Ericssion, Tech Mahindra, Vodafone, Cisco and Infosys, but not necessarily in the same order.

At least two friends work in the same city. Anuj works with Infosys in Mumbai. Arjun does not work with Tech Mahindra. Only Sweta lives in Dehradun along with Arjun. Rahane works with Ericssion and does not live in Mumbai. Naveen works with Vodafone but does not live in the same city as Rahane. Mihika does not live in Kanpur. Those who live in dehradun work neither with IBM nor with Cisco. None of those who live in Mumbai work with Cisco.

Puzzle 3

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H like different mobile phones viz. Lenovo, Redmi, Vivo, Oppo, Panasonic, Moto, LeEco and Asus but not necessarily in same order. All of them are sitting around a rectangular table. Four persons sits on each middle side of rectangular table, while other four persons on the corner of table. All of them are facing towards the centre.

D is sitting second to the right of the one, who likes Panasonic mobile. F and G are sitting opposite to each other.  C is sitting opposite to the one, who likes Redmi mobile.  B is sitting to the immediate right of the one, who likes LeEco mobile. The one who likes Moto mobile is sitting second to the right of the one, who likes Vivo mobile and second to the left of A, who is not sitting near the one, who likes Redmi mobile. G is sitting on the smaller side and to the immediate right of the one, who likes Moto mobile who is sitting third to the right of the one, who likes Oppo mobile, who is not sitting opposite to the person, who likes Lenovo mobile. The one who likes Moto mobile is sitting third to the left of C . F sits second to the left of H. The one who likes Lenovo mobile sits opposite to the one who likes Vivo mobile.

Puzzle – 4

Twelve persons Z, X, C, V, B, N, A, S, D, F, G and H are sitting in two parallel rows with equidistance from each other. In Row-1, Z, X, C, V, B and N are sitting and all of them are facing south and in Row-2, A, S, D, F, G and H are sitting and all of them are facing north but not necessary in the same order.

B sits second to the left of the one who faces A and either one of them sits at the extreme ends of the rows. Two persons are sitting between A and S. N faces one of the immediate neighbours of S. Two persons are sitting between H and F. G sits immediate left of F, who sit at the extreme end and C sits to the immediate left of V. X does not face S. S does not sit at the extreme end.

Puzzle – 5

Seven friends G, H, I, J, K, L and M like seven different sports, namely Badminton, Cricket, Football, Tennis, Archery, Shooting and Rugby but not necessarily in the same order. They will also go for a picnic not necessarily in the same order from Monday to Sunday (of the same week).

G will go for a picnic on Friday. Only one person goes for a picnic between G and the one who likes Shooting. Only two persons go for a picnic between L and the one who likes Shooting. The one who likes Archery will go for a picnic immediately before H. Only three persons will go for a picnic between the one who likes Archery and I. Only one person goes for a picnic between the one who likes Tennis and I. K does not like Archery. M will go for a picnic immediately before I. Only one person goes for a picnic between K and the one who likes Cricket. Only two persons will go for a picnic between the one who likes Badminton and the one who likes Football. The one who likes Football will go for a picnic exactly between the one who likes Cricket and Rugby. K and H does not like Cricket.
