Each of them is of a different profession Chartered Accountant, Columnist, Doctor, Engineer, Financial Analyst, Lawyer, Professor and Scientist but not necessarily in the same order.F is sitting second to the left of K. The Scientist is an immediate neighbour of K. There are only three people between the Scientist and E. Only one person sits between the Engineer and E. The Columnist is to the immediate right of the Engineer. M is second to the right of K. H is the Scientist. G and J are immediate neighbours of each other. Neither G nor J is an Engineer. The Financial Analyst is to the immediate left of F. The Lawyer is second to the right of the Columnist. The Professor is an immediate neighbour of the Engineer. G is second to the right of the Chartered Accountant.

Puzzle 2

Fourteen persons are sitting in two parallel rows such that each row contains seven persons. In the given seating arrangement, each member seated in a row faces another member of the row. The person in row 1 faces north and sit exactly opposite to the persons in row 2 facing south.P and M do not sit together. Either N or Q sits at one of the extreme corners of the row. U sits at one of the extreme ends of the row and sits diagonally opposite to V. T and X are facing the south direction. Y sits fourth to the left or right of Z. P and T do not face each other. R sits exactly in the middle of one of the rows. N sits second to the right of Q. Q and M do not sit in the same row. O and Z are facing each other. N and S do not sit in the same row. T sits second to the right of the one who faces S. V sits third to the left or right of M. Q does not sit with O or Z.
