Eight persons Bhavya, Ravi, Kavya, Meena, Amit, Rohit, Sahil, and Medha have their birthdays on either 12th or 14th of four different months i.e March, April, May, June not necessarily in the same order.


Bhavya has a birthday on the 12th of a month having 31 days. Only one person has a birthday before Ravi. The number of persons between Bhavya and Ravi is one less than the number of persons between Ravi and Megha. Kavya and Meena have their birthdays in the same month having 30 days, but not in April. Rohit’s birthday is after Sahil’s. Only three persons have a birthday between Ravi and Amit. Kavya has the birthday before Meena.

Puzzle 2

Nilesh, Sneha, Mohan, Sushil, Teena, Aman, Varun, and Vikas are sitting in a straight line but not necessarily in the same order. Some of them are facing south while the remaining are facing north.

Sneha and Aman face opposite directions and Aman sits fourth to the right of Sneha. Varun sits second to the left of Teena. The immediate neighbor of Sushil faces the same direction as Sushil. Nilesh sits second to the left of Aman. The immediate neighbor of Nilesh faces the same direction as Varun. Vikas is not an immediate neighbor of Varun. Both the immediate neighbors of Sneha face opposite directions. One of the immediate neighbors of Vikas faces north. Teena is not third from the right end if we face north. Mohan sits in the fourth position with respect to Nilesh. Vikas is not facing south. Both the immediate neighbors of Varun face the same direction. Varun is third to the right of Sneha. Mohan is not facing north.

Puzzle 3

Twelve people A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, and M are sitting in a straight line in such a way that some of them facing towards north and some of them facing towards south. Each of them likes different snacks either Lays or Kurkure. The one who likes Lays are facing towards the north and the one who likes Kurkure are facing towards the south. Not more than two people like the same snack sit together.

Two people sit between B and H, who like Kurkure. G sits second to the left of A. Both the immediate neighbors of C face in the opposite direction as C. Both the immediate neighbor of B likes Lays. D is not an immediate neighbor of B but likes Lays. G faces in the opposite direction as M. B faces towards the south. Four people sit between H and E, who doesn’t sit to the left of B. C sits immediate left of H. Not more than two people sit between E and K, who likes Lays. A sits second to the left of L, who sits third to the right of F. L likes Lays. Only two people sit between J and F, who is not an immediate neighbor of K. Neither C nor A sit at any extreme end of the line. Only two people sit before K if counting from the left of K.
