Seven friends A, B, C, D, E, F and G have their exam in different months viz. from January to July of seven different subjects viz. Civics, Computer, History, Math, Hindi, Science, English. They all studied in different schools viz. K, L, M, N, O, P and Q.
A has his exam in a month which has 30 days and studied in school P. The exam of science held in a month which has least number of days. One person have exam in between the one who studied in school P and one who studied in school O. D has exam immediately before F who has his exam in a month which has 30 days. Three persons have exam between D and the one who has exam of English. F does not have exam in April. C has exam of Math but studied neither in school K nor M.G studied in School Q and has exam after C. Two exams are held between the exam of Science and Computer. The one who has exam of History has exam in a month which has 30 days and studied in school N. The exam of Civics held in a month which has 31 days. The one who studied in School K does not have exam in May. E does not have exam of science.
सात मित्र A, B, C, D, E, F और G विभिन्न महीनों अर्थात् : जनवरी से जुलाई तक, सात अलग अलग विषयों अर्थात् : नागरिक शास्त्र, कंप्यूटर, इतिहास, गणित, हिंदी, विज्ञान और अंग्रेजी की परीक्षा देते हैं। वे सभी अलग-अलग विद्यालयों अर्थात् : K, L, M, N, O, P और Q में पढ़ते हैं।
A की परीक्षा उस महीने में है जिसमें 30 दिन हैं और विद्यालय P में पढ़ता है। विज्ञान की परीक्षा उस महीने में है जिसमें दिनों की संख्या सबसे कम है। विद्यालय P में पढ़ने वाले व्यक्ति और विद्यालय O में पढ़ने वाले व्यक्ति के बीच में एक व्यक्ति की परीक्षा है। D की परीक्षा, F से ठीक पहले है, जिसकी परीक्षा उस महीने में है, जिसमें 30 दिन हैं। D और अंग्रेजी की परीक्षा देने वाले व्यक्ति के बीच में तीन व्यक्तियों की परीक्षा है। F की परीक्षा अप्रैल में नहीं है। C की गणित की परीक्षा है लेकिन वह न तो विद्यालय K न M में पढ़ता है। G, विद्यालय Q में पढ़ता है और उसकी परीक्षा C के बाद है। विज्ञान और कंप्यूटर की परीक्षा के बीच में दो परीक्षाएं हैं। इतिहास की परीक्षा वाले व्यक्ति की परीक्षा उस महीने में है जिसमें 30 दिन हैं और वह विद्यालय N में पढ़ता है। नागरिक शास्त्र की परीक्षा उस महीने में है जिसमें 31 दिन हैं। विद्यालय K में पढ़ने वाले व्यक्ति की परीक्षा मई में नहीं है। E की विज्ञान विषय की परीक्षा नहीं है।

Eight people viz. K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R are made to sit in a row. Some of them are facing north while some of them are facing south. No two successive people sit with each other except L and M according to alphabetical order (such as K does not with L and P does not sit with O and so on). They all visit different places for holiday viz. Nalanda, Jodhpur, Goa, Nanital, Gulmarg, Kutch, Darjeeling and Rishikesh. Q sits third to the right of O. The one who visit Darjeeling sits second to the left of K. The one who visit Gulmarg sits at an extreme end. Both N and R are immediate neighbors. The one who visit Nalanda sits fifth to the right of the one who visit Gulmarg. Q sits second to the right of R who visit Gulmarg. Only one person sits between the one who visit Rishikesh and the one who visit Darjeeling. Q does not visit Rishikesh. The one who visit Kutch sits third to the right of L. N visit Goa. The one who visit Nanital sits second to the left of N. Both K and Q are facing same direction. The one who visit Nanital sits fourth to the right of the one who visit Kutch. M and the one who visit Rishikesh is facing south direction.
आठ व्यक्ति K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R एक पंक्ति में बैठे हैं। उनमें से कुछ का मुख उत्तर की ओर है जबकि कुछ का मुख दक्षिण की ओर है। L और M के अतिरिक्त कोई भी दो व्यक्ति वर्णमाला क्रम के अनुसार एक-दूसरे के साथ नहीं बैठते हैं (जैसे कि K, L के साथ नहीं बैठता तथा P, O के साथ नहीं बैठता और आगे इसी प्रकार)। वे सभी छुट्टियों में अलग-अलग स्थानों पर जाते हैं अर्थात् नालंदा, जोधपुर, गोवा, नैनीताल, गुलमार्ग, कच्छ, दार्जीलिंग और ऋषिकेश। Q, O के दाएं से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। दार्जीलिंग जाने वाला व्यक्ति, K के बाएं से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। गुलमर्ग जाने वाला व्यक्ति एक अंतिम छोर पर बैठा है। N और R दोनों निकटतम पड़ोसी हैं। नालंदा जाने वाला व्यक्ति, गुलमर्ग जाने वाले व्यक्ति के दाएं से पांचवें स्थान पर बैठा है। Q, R के दाएं से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है, जो गुलमर्ग जाता है। ऋषिकेश और दार्जीलिंग जाने वाले व्यक्तियों के मध्य केवल एक व्यक्ति बैठा है। Q, ऋषिकेश नहीं जाता है। कच्छ जाने वाला व्यक्ति, L के दाएं से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। N गोवा जाता है। नैनीताल जाने वाला व्यक्ति, N के बाएं से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। K और Q दोनों का मुख एक ही दिशा की ओर है। नैनीताल जाने वाला व्यक्ति, कच्छ जाने वाले व्यक्ति के दाएं से चौथे स्थान पर बैठा है। M और ऋषिकेश जाने वाले व्यक्ति का मुख दक्षिण दिशा की ओर है।
