Puzzle 1

There are eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H. They are born in different years â€“ 1953, 1958, 1968, 1974, 1980, 1985, 1993, and 1999. There ages are with respect to the year 2017.

Only 2 people were born before H. One person was born between H and D. There is a difference of 5 years between D and G. B is not 18 years old. Two people were born between A and B. Neither A nor B is the oldest among all. A was born before B. There is a difference of 21 years between C and A. E is younger than F.

Solution :

Puzzle 2

A, B, R, K, M, N, O and P are sitting around a square table in such a way that four of them sit at four corners of the square and face the center, while four sit in the middle of each of the four sides and face outward.

B does not sit at any corners but sits second to the right of N. A sits third to the right of R, who is not an immediate neighbor of N. M and O are immediate neighbors of each other but M does not sit at any of the corners of the table. K is not an immediate neighbor of R and N.

Puzzle 3

Seven people namely, A, B, C, D, E, F, and G live on different floors of the same building but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor of the building is numbered 1 and the topmost floor of the building is numbered 7. Each of them attends different hobby classes i.e. Painting, Cooking, Singing, and Dancing but not necessarily in the same order. On different days starting from Monday to Sunday. One person attends only one hobby class and only one class will take place each day. There are two persons who attend the Dancing, Cooing, Painting class, and only one person attend the Singing class.

G attends the class on Thursday. There are two persons who attend the class between G and the person who attends the Painting class. There are three persons who attend the class between the person who attend the Dancing class and the one who attends the Singing class. The persons who attend the Dancing classes attend before the one who attends the Singing class. The one who attends the Singing class doesnâ€™t attend on Saturday. The number of persons who attend class between G and the one who attend the Singing class is the same as the number of persons who attend class between D and the one who attend the Cooking class. The person who attends the Cooking class attend before D. D does not attend the Painting class. C attends the class on the day immediately before the day on which G attends the class. D doesnâ€™t attend the class just after the day on which G attends the class. The number of persons who attend the class between G and E is the same as the number of persons who attend the class between G and F. B attends the Dancing class. F lives on floor number 2 and doesnâ€™t attend the Cooking class.
