Puzzle 1

There are eight people A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J live in a five storey building such that the ground floor is numbered 1 and the top floor is numbered 5. Each of the floors has 2 flats as flat-A and flat-B . Flat A is to the west of Flat B .

(Note 1: Flat-A is to the west of flat-B . Flat-A of floor 2 is immediately above flat-A of floor 1 and immediately below flat-A of floor 3 and so on. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.

Note 2: If B lives in flat B and it is given that A lives above B then it means that A either lives in flat A or flat B above B . It is not necessary that A and B live in the same flat.)

C lives to the West of G on an even-numbered floor. Two people live between H and G. H and G live in the same flat. One person lives between D and H. D and H live in different flats. B lives to the East of D . A lives two floors above B but on a different flat. E lives immediately below A on the same flat. J lives to the West of I.
