Puzzle 1

Ten persons are sitting in two parallel rows containing five persons each. In row 1, A, B, C, D and E are sitting and all of them are facing south. In row 2, P, Q, R, S and T are sitting and all of them are facing north. In the given seating arrangement, each member seated in a row faces another member of the other row. Moreover, each of them is speaking different language i.e. Chinese, Spanish, English, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Hausa, Italian, French and Korean, but not necessarily in the same order.

Only two persons sit between the one who speaks Chinese who sits at an extreme end and E. P who sits in the middle of the row is not an immediate neighbour of Q who doesn’t speak Korean. T sits at an extreme end. E speaks Russian and also sits on the immediate right of the person who speaks Spanish . E faces the immediate neighhour of Q. B is not sitting at the extreme left end. P does not speak French. Only one person sits between C and D who speaks Chinese. S speaks Japanese. S is an immediate neighbour of the one who speaks Korean. S does not face the person who speaks English. R who speaks Arabic is an immediate neighbour of the person who speaks French. The person who speaks French faces the immediate neighbour of the one who speaks Russian. There are two persons between the one who speaks Hausa and the one who speaks English. B does not speak Hausa. T does not speak Italian. D does not sit at extreme right end.

दस व्यक्ति दो समानांतर रेखा में प्रत्येक में पांच व्यक्ति बैठे है. रेखा 1 में, A, B, C, D और E बैठे है और सभी का मुख दक्षिण की ओर है. रेखा 2 में, P, Q, R, S और T बैठे है और सभी का मुख उत्तर की ओर है. दी गयी बैठने की व्यवस्था में, एक रेखा में बैठे हुए व्यक्ति का मुख दूसरी रेखा में बैठे व्यक्ति की मुख की ओर है. इसके आलावा, प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अलग-अलग भाषा बोलते है अर्थात चीनी, स्पेनिश, अंग्रेजी, अरबी, रूसी, जापानी, हौसा, इतालवी, फ्रेंच और कोरियाई, परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में है.

T रेखा के अंतिम छोर पर बैठा है. E, रुसी भाषा बोलता है और स्पेनिश बोलने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक दायें बैठा है. E का मुख Q के निकटतम पडोसी की ओर है. B, रेखा के बायें अंतिम छोर पर नहीं बैठा है. P, फ्रेंच नहीं बोलता है. केवल एक व्यक्ति C और D के मध्य बैठा है जोकि चीनी बोलता है. S, जापानी भाषा बोलता है. S, कोरियाई भाषा बोलने वाले व्यक्ति का निकटतम पडोसी है. S का मुख अंग्रेजी भाषा बोलने वाले व्यक्ति की ओर नहीं है. R जोकि अरबी बोलता है, फ्रेंच बोलने वाले व्यक्ति का निकटतम पडोसी है. वह व्यक्ति जो फ्रेंच बोलता है, का मुख रुसी बोलने वाले व्यक्ति का निकटतम पडोसी है. दो व्यक्ति हौसा बोलने वाले व्यक्ति और अंग्रेजी बोलने वाले व्यक्ति के बीच स्थित है. B, हौसा नहीं बोलता है. T, इतावली भाषा नहीं बोलता है. D रेखा के दायें अंत पर नहीं बैठा है.

Puzzle 2

In a republic day event, eight girls A, B, C, D, P, Q, R and S are standing in two concentric circles in such a manner that each member of the inner circle stands exactly opposite to the member of the outer circle. The members standing in the outer circle are P, Q, R and A and all of them are facing towards the centre while the members of the inner circle are S, B, C and D and they are facing away from the centre. Each of them likes a different singer, viz. E, K, G, L, Y, Z, F and M, but not necessarily in the same order.

D likes neither K nor Y and faces R, who likes neither Z nor M. The girl who likes F faces the girl who likes E. S, who likes L, faces the immediate neighbor of the girl who likes G. R stands second to the left of A. The girls who like Y and E are in separate circles. The girl who likes Z stands on the immediate left of A. Q, who does not like G, does not face S. The girls who like Z and M are immediate neighbours, and one of them faces B, who likes K. The girls who like F and L stand in the same circle but they are not immediate neighbours of each other.

S, जोकि L को पसंद करती है, G को पसंद करने वाली लड़की के निकटतम पडोसी की ओर मुख करके खड़ी है. R, A के बायें से दुसरे स्थान पर खड़ी है. वह लड़कियां को Y और E को पसंद करती है अलग-अलग सर्किल में खड़ी है. वह लड़की को Z को पसंद करती है, A के ठीक बायें खड़ी है. Q, जोकि G को पसंद नहीं करती है, S की ओर मुख करके नहीं खड़ी है. वह लड़कियां जो Z और M को पसंद करती है निकटतम पडोसी है, इनमे से एक का मुख B की ओर है, जोकि K पसंद करती है. वह लड़कियां जो F और L को पसंद करती है समान सर्किल में खड़ी है परन्तु वह एक-दुसरे की निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है.
